Another delightful model from the Schleich range. Along with everything else, prices are creeping up but the quality of detail etc makes it worth while. Easily the best quality compared to other similar products from other makers.

This is an intricately-crafted and solidly made model figurine. I bought it as a Christmas present for a young child. The child is only one-and-a-half, and currently uses these figurines as animals he can load in his toy truck and transport around. But I think it has created interest for him in the animal itself and will be something he will keep and enjoy as he grows older. The toy is recommended for children 3 years and older, but the toy is too big for him to put in his mouth, and it constructed solidly enough that he would not be able to bite off the horns or legs :)
