Oh K! Hydrogel Caviar Face Mask

Kind of cool to tell my friends I was using a "caviar face mask". If that's the kind of thing you want to spend $8 on, then jump.

I live in the Mountains & it is dry. I use these wonderful masks, once a week, to keep my skin hydrated, soft & glowing.

The ‘Oh K! Hydrogel Caviar Face Mask’ was easy to use with no mess or fuss and felt blissfully cool when applied to the skin. It was also straightforward to remove and according to the instructions you don’t need to rinse off the residue.Afterwards my skin felt hydrated and fantastically refreshed, and unlike some other face masks didn’t block my pores or otherwise impact my sensitive skin. However, it also left a slight stickiness behind which didn’t disappear until I washed my face some time later.Although effective, I found the effect was similar to those of cheaper, high-street face masks and there was no discernible smell which reflected the premium ingredients used.

This mask is easy to apply; simply rip off the top and take out the two parts of the mask. Peel off the white layer and put on the lower and upper parts of the maskThey slide a bit in the beginning when they are still very moist, so it's best to lie down and relax for the 30 min treatment.The mask is very pleasant and cooling on the skin and it does feel like it's giving it a good moisturisationThe things I find less successful or goid about the mask are 1/ there is a lot of waste paper and plastic for a one use mask 2/ it's expensive at the current price of £12 3/ it slides and it's a bit small to cover my face properlyThe effect afterwards is really quite good with soft, moisturised and glowing skin that lasts for a couple of days and it's nice we don't have to wash it off but the residue can simply be rubbed into the skin. It's pleasant for a relaxing day of pampering, but so are many other, cheaper, better fitting- and possibly more environmentally friendly - masks.

Oh K! Hydrogel Caviar Face Mask is a very nice face mask which I enjoyed using as like other face masks in this range it is lovely and cool to wear and because of this very relaxing.The mask is in two parts, and are I found it to be very easy to apply to my face. I wore the mask for the recommended time and with the residue which is left behind on the skin was massaged into my skin using upward strokes.My skin felt and looked so much better as it was all plumped up, therefore, looking healthier. I loved the smooth texture of my skin which lasted a few days afterwards,Oh K! Hydrogel Caviar Face Mask has no strong fragrances and it did not irritate my skin in anyway.Though expensive I would purchase this for special occasions or for those times when my skin is badly in need of a lot of tender loving care.

Make sure you don’t scare family members or pets - as looks terrifinging on!I’d suggest warning between your hands before opening as I did find it took a while to lose the chill on my face, which was a tiny bit disconcerting. After it had warmed I relaxed and enjoyed the sensation - the mask is very well infused by the gel product and I felt my skin was absorbing moisture.The mask comes in 2 sections which I found easy to apply. After 30 minutes - remove and just rub in any residue product. Immediately my skin felt plumper and nourished - similar to a very expensive facial I had recently. Absolutely no irritation experienced.The mask does not have any strong aroma - certainly not fishy - which could be a concern with the caviar title.Currently on sale for £12 - worth it for a little facial treat.

Comparing to similar masks that are widely available, I didn't really see or feel any difference with the 'Caviar' thing, apart from the price. It does what masks are supposed to do, no better and no worse - cleanses, hydrates and rejuvenates the skin, making face feel tighter and cleaner after use. It does what is supposed to do, but there are much cheaper products out there that give the same effect.
