My island has a 33" workstation sink on the side that's across from the cooktop. I wanted a prep/beverage sink on the opposite side of the island by the wine and coffee bar. I agonized over what size to get - wanted something bigger than the typical tiny bar sink but not as large as a regular main kitchen sink. This turned out to be just right. I love that it's very deep for its size. We installed a glass rinser and reverse osmosis system with it and now you can get a drink or make coffee without intruding into the cooking zone. It looks great, too.
