I got this calendar as an alternative to candy Advent calendars. The set contains very nice stone and crystal specimens. My 4 year old granddaughter has been fascinated by my personal collection and this was perfect for her. The stones are well contained in their own individual numbered compartments in a very sturdy cardboard case. All the stones are genuine, a good size, polished and well matched to the picture guide on the book-like box. It includes some surprises- the first compartment had a bracelet, a cloth bag for the stones, a cord necklace with a wire wrap holder to slip a stone in and the first crystal. One had 2 amethyst pieces inside. Needless to say, I was very impressed with this product and feel it was better than the ones that were twice the price. I regularly buy crystals from vendors and these specimens would cost far more than what I paid for this calendar.

I got these advent calendars for my grandsons! They are awesome&the boys have enjoyed opening each day to see the crystal of the day! Great price&value!

I don't know what it is about rocks, but my 6 year old loves them and this advent calendar has been so perfect! I love watching his eyes light up each night and because he's a reader now, he loves to match up the rocks with the pictures provided and read the information given. This is a super fun gift!

My daughter is 13 and loves this advent calendar. The stones are beautiful, the descriptions provided for each individual stone are fun to read as well!

Most advent calendars are a total waste of money, but this is the best one I've bought, ever. Beautifully made and packaged and generous with stone sizes. Highly recommend.

Lots of accessories for necklaces or Keychains. But some of the crystals aren't good quality at all. The lab is really beat up and and very hard to tell what it is. I only figured it out because I collect Crystals so I knew what I was looking at with the flash. There is a very small flash on a corner. Only 8 days in, so hopefully things will be better later in the month.

got this for my daughter and of the 8 stones she has opened so far 3 are near to identical. I understand that there is a range of appearance for stones but for these sorts of things a bit more care should be taken to make sure the stones are different enough from each other that you could make a guess at which stones they are.

My kids are having a blast with this advent calendar. So much better than getting a cheap piece of chocolate every day. If your kids love cool rocks, they’ll love this. Mine have enjoyed adding to their little “treasure bags” and switching out the stones in the necklaces. Just to be transparent though, the rocks and gems aren’t exactly like what’s pictured, as far as vibrancy and vivid colors, but they’re still nice enough that the kids are satisfied with them and that’s what’s important.
