Great quality product. The potential downside is that some edges are a bit sharp. They won't cut you, but you should be careful with who handles the model.

This is a model of JA801A, the very first 787 delivered to a customer. Going back around 15 years I was heavily involved in this program, including this very airplane. At the time I never thought about getting one of the many versions of models in varying size and quality available at the gift stores at Haneda, but now that I'm a bit more settled, I saw this pictured and decided it would be worth the advertised price of under $20 to have sitting on my desk. And.. I'd say it is. But. It's not the best model of the plane available. The print quality is off on registering to the model - the cockpit windows are slanted to the left and all the red color is offset a little backward; the rising sun isn't centered on the flag and the red intersections on the design just kind of float a bit behind where they should be. The plane is shown in flight configuration, but the wings are basically flat (clear miss on the distinctive inflight bow and don't even have the slightly swept tips the real plane has on the ground). That said, if I glance over at it I don't see the flaws, I see a reminder of a specific airframe I have a personal attachment to, and for that purpose it works really well.

It's a nice model of an airbus A350. The level of detail is not super great but as a display piece on the shelf on the stand in flight I think it's quite nice. Other people have complained about the size but I find it's just fine and it's what I expected. It's a small model. The quality of the decals is good and on mine properly aligned. The real difference is I have one of the same companies A380 and the detail on that one is more defined than on the A350. The A380 has delineations on the underside of the wing and fuselage, showing leading and trailing edges, and landing gear wells. The A350 has none of that. However for the price as a solid model with the stand its a a good choice
