It's hard to find a phone mount which puts the phone in a useful position in the Jeep; this does it. It is super sturdy, doesn't move around and clamps to the dash reliably. The clamp isn't perfectly aesthetic - it fits the jeep but clearly allows for many other card models. I have a large phone (Samsung - 3 inches wide plus case) so it's a tight fit and so the phone spring is super tight on the phone. Does it need to be that strong?. I wonder if it's bad for the phone long term or they're designed to be crushed from the 'side' but it also make it hard to get the phone in... well, it's not a one-handed half a second put in or pull out but maybe it's loosen up (or I will :-) ). Good value for $20 and if I need another clamp for a gopro or something it seems like it's a standard ball so I can add other accessories if I remove the phone clamp. n.b. The clamp back doesn't go into the duck well, it goes onto the higher lip when fitting... confused me momentrily when I didn't think it was wide enough. Hope this is helpful.

Item was garbage and was returned. Now being charged again claiming it was not returned ! Why don’t you actually open the damn return and see the item was in the box! Will never purchase from this seller again.. buyer beware!

First off, they should have been upfront that the mount on the windshield side has to fit up under the plastic piece. You have to literally use a tool to pull it up so it gets a grip. I too had concern about the plastic tray over time but, I figured I'm going to keep this Jeep and, if it really becomes the tray can be replaced. That being said, this is a kick ass phone holder! I have bought at least 4 others and this one is definitely it! It does not move, it does not shake, it does not rattle! I live down a 3 mile dirt road that is rough at times and this thing does not move. I recommend this product.

Those items pretty solid the grip strength that has on your phone is immaculate took it on the trail. My phone did not budge at all. No instructions included in the packaging so originally trying to install it. I thought I bought the wrong size, but the back hook on the item actually goes underneath the panel After figuring that out has been secured in place and hasn’t moved since perfectly fits my 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4XE.

This is The Best phone holder I have found for my JL. Installs in seconds, can place anywhere on outter lip of dash tray. Did I mention it's solid! No vibration, doesn't move until you remove your phone. Wish they made equivalent for CB mic holder.

Bought one, super easy install, held my Galaxy S22 Ultra in a case well. Definitely built for jeep, held well even while out on the trails bouncing around. Tried my 12 gang CoLight switch panel and it fit as well. So I ordered two more. Now wife and I have a phone mount and the switch panel has a good mounting point as well. 3 of these for the price of one bullet point mount is such a win dollars wise.
