Bought it few days ago. The time is clearly visible in night and you can adjust brightness so that do not disturb you while asleep. Its visible from distance as numbers displayed on it are quite big. The battery in it make sure in case of power cut you do not need to reset it. I checked that after 12 hours or so it retain the setting and give accurate time.Only thing is its a bit over priced (1000 should be ok) and quality of built could be improved further. But given similar clocks are costlier than this, its a good choice.I am giving 4 stars only because it says it has 3 brightness level but the piece I got the third level just completely dark.
