Hi,GPS plugs into the standard USB port on the camera mount. The other port is for12 Volt DC from your cigarette lighter or hard wired from your car wiring.

It has a microphone so I don’t see why not. I have mine switched off for sound and use it as just a forward facing camera

it does have motion detection, but only if you walk into range, may capture people messing at the front of the car.
