It’s a ladle and seems durable. Larger than expected. Hook on the end is bigger than I thought which is good for hanging but can take up extra space in a utensil holder so it depends how you plan on storing it

This is a very nice ladle. I will say it's not as round and deep like my grandmother used to have back in the day which is what I was looking for but it's close enough for now until I find that vintage ladle that looks like a half a tennis ball. This is a close second so it's acceptable but I'm still on the hunt for the original 1950s ladle!
