Levi's Women's Premium Original Trucker Jacket

I appreciate reading reviews from other women about the "fit" and quality of the clothes they ordered, so here goes... 1. ALWAYS check the size chart when ordering any article of clothing - there are vast differences between vendors. 2. That said, this traditional Levi jacket runs true to size. I am 69 years old, 5'5" and 156 pounds, with 42-inch bust. I typically wear L or XL - I ordered this jacket in XL and it fits very well. 3. The fabric is typical black denim! The design is really cute; the sleeve length is perfect, but I wish the jacket itself was an inch or two longer, but that’s not a deal breaker. I plan to wear it in the spring and fall with jeans and sleeveless dresses. 4. I will wash this jacket on a delicate cycle, put it in the dryer for about 10 minutes to help get the wrinkles out and hang it up to finishing drying. 5. This jacket was a great value! I highly recommend it.

Love the fit and color. I wear this light jacket often. I ordered a small. I’m 119 lbs and 5.1. I would def order again! This jacket is quality I know it will last for many years.

This jacket is FABULOUS!! I ordered 3 other similar denim jackets (1 and being Wrangler), there is NO comparison. The LEVIS jacket is quality material, the stitching is top-notch, the fit is comfy and just right! The material has some stretch to it. This is quality denim and thickness is as expected. It is soft and I can't take it off!! Having seen ALL the "short comings" of the other brands... I would say that this jacket is an exceptional value for the money. This is my second jacket. My first one was in the blue denim. I would recommend the jacket for women of all ages! I think it would look great on everyone. And it really goes with so many outfits!

Very durable, and the quality is excellent! I loved the fit, and the back was perfect to use for a custom painted jacket.

I ordered three different types of Levi’s trucker jackets all in size Large (recommended size) for a side by side comparison. Please note that the 3 trucker jackets DO NOT COME WITH A HOODIE. I was simply making sure I could layer a hoodie underneath the denim jackets as this is how I like to wear them. All 3 Large sized jackets passed my hoodie test and Large felt like an accurate size recommendation to the style of each jacket. The sleeve length was long and perfect for me. If you’re looking for a more “form fitting” jacket, order the original trucker in your normal size (it does have stretch if you’re between sizes), order the Ex-Boyfriend a size smaller (no stretch.. watch out for arm length though), and skip the Baggy trucker altogether or try ordering it two sizes smaller (no stretch.. watch out for arm length changes ordering small sizes). My measurements: Height 5’8” - Weight 155lbs - Shoulder to Shoulder 17" - Bust 38" - Waist 28” - Hips 40". All of the Levi’s denim trucker jackets have inside “pockets” which is a feature I have always loved from Levi’s denim jackets. If you notice from the photos, each jacket is about 2” longer than the next. The Original trucker jacket being the shortest length and darkest wash; pictured in the first photo, all the way to the left (top & bottom) of the second photo and all the way to the right in the third photo. It is meant to be roomy but more form fitting, while the other two styles are meant to be baggy. I was still able to layer the Original trucker over my hoodie comfortably in my recommended size. While the Original trucker fit nicely and probably would look best over dresses out of the 3, I chose the Ex-Boyfriend because I already own a form fitting denim jacket and wanted something different. I liked the Original trucker the least because it was so dark, had all black buttons, and looked too new and clean. This sounds weird, but all my black jeans are all faded, so I preferred the faded washes on the other two black trucker jackets. The Baggy Trucker and Ex-Boyfriend trucker also have no stretch and have contrasting brownish brass buttons which felt more vintage. Notice the Ex-Boyfriend jacket has buttons on the right “men’s side” while both the Original Trucker and Baggy Trucker have buttons on the left “women’s side”. I hope my review helps you decide!

I was concerned about which size to buy. I went with my normal size, and it was perfect. There was enough stretch to make the jacket comfortable in the arms and shoulders. The measurement around the torso was spot on. I was able to button it all up comfortably. The hem hit me around my waist…maybe a tad longer. I have a natural/average length waistline. This jacket is an original Levi Strauss. All the detailing and work is top notch. Color was the same as in photo on website. It has a slightly ‘worn or faded’ look. I would call it a medium on the dark/light scale. All the details are true to the description on site. I’m extremely happy with this purchase.

I have the light blue, the Sweet Jane and now the black which I purchased in December. I can’t say enough good things about them. I wear a small and they fit so well, being true to size. They are versatile and timeless. The colors are great and go so well with everything. I wear them with jeans, casual and dressy pants, and sometimes with a dress just to be trendy. The weight is perfect. I even wear them with a tank top in the summer in the air conditioning. They’re warm, but not hot and so comfortable. They wash like a dream too. These jackets are my “go to” jackets for sure!

This jacket was better than I thought it would be. I love it.
