The OrdinarySalicylic Acid 2% Solution, Acne-Fighting Serum for Blemish-Prone Skin

I've been using The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Solution for a few weeks now, and it's made a noticeable difference in my skin. My breakouts have reduced, especially around my T-zone, and my skin feels smoother. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a sticky residue. However, it can be a bit drying if used too often, so I now apply it every other day and follow up with a good moisturizer. Overall, it’s a great budget-friendly serum for acne-prone skin, but sensitive skin users should start slow.

Keeps my pores clean.I apply just to the pores thst have oxidized sebum (look like black heads but they aren't)I apply this nightly and my pores stay clean looking. Less oxidized sebum. (Castor oil cleans them out completely)The consistency is nice. Its not to thin and watery but not too thick like a cream. Its a perfect serum consistency. Stays put and because its thicker doesnt roll down the face fast. Its a slow moving serum.No added fragrance or scent. Its just a straight salicyclic acid serum. I really like the no added fragrence as I am quite sensitive to overly scented items.I have normal skin, my t zone gets a bit more oil/sebum production then other areas but it is a pretty tiny amount. Its not overly greasy looking but definitely more oilyness then my cheeks (as it should be)This doesnt dry me out or cause more oil production. Its lightwieght and dries quickly.I use a pretty heavy moisturizer (la roche cicaplast) as my nightly moisturizer to help loco in all the products i used so my face benefits the most from it.

Did not have luck with their retinol so trying a milder exfoliator. So far so good - helping with my redness. Leaves my skin soft in the morning and far less red. I use couple of drops for my face then moisturize every other day.

I have used this product of years and I love it. It’s hydrating and works to help clear my acne. Just a little bit goes a long way and it lasts of several months.

This is my second time buying this product that is not only affordable, but works tremendously! After just one use, you can see a significant difference in your skin care, routine, and your pores all over your face.

So far, I think I’ve been using it for a week or a little longer. I’ve been using it on my pimple that I had for years and it’s slowly going away. I’ve also been applying it to my nose where I always seem to have some redness around that area and it’s slowly going away too! I only apply one drop on the preferred area twice a day and that seems to do the trick. Though I wish I would’ve taken some pictures for before and after… but overall I’m satisfied for the results that I’m seeing and I hope it continues to improve throughout the time!

Tener mucho cuidado qué otros productos usas al usar este sérum, es bastante fuertecito a mi parecer, pero me encantó para regulador el sebo, y en cuestiones de pocos días, mis acné que más destacaba o que recién salía, desaparecía. Usarlo de noche y no más de 2 o 3 veces a la semana y no días seguidos!

This is the cheapest skincare product I own and it has made the biggest difference in my skin. I’m very dry but breakout prone and this has been keeping my skin clear without irritating it. I’m on my second bottle.
