Watch the video fully - These are Awesome
These where very fun to install. Must have’s: PVC pipecutter, Super Glue, deadblow mallet and patience. The glue they send is garbage and completely dried out, but I am not surprised. Definitely must have a PVC cutter to cut correctly and more importantly safely. Patience is a must but these are not difficult to install. Be sure to TOTALLY deflate your tires or the alloygator can’t slide in all the way and be flush with your rim. Other than that, they look great and I feel relieved that my wheels are protected.

Looks like a good product but…
I usually do not write reviews but this one needs it! Directions are clear, install was easy until i got to the last step - the GLUE. The Glue was expired, hardened and not flowing… So had to stop at the end of the first rim install and look for a glue online. Will drive to the local Home Depot to get a replacement. Very frustrating!

Model Y Performance Install
Installed on Tesla 21 inch uberturbine wheels. Appears to be able to protect the rims. It took about 1.5 hours to install and must have a jack, air compressor and rubber/plastic hammer to do the job. Moderate difficulty. There is a small 1/16” gap between the rim and the protector but still looks good on the wheels.

highly recommend. purchased 3 times already
I recently purchased Rim Protectors for my tesla Y, and I'm extremely satisfied with the product. These rim protectors not only enhance the look of my Tesla but also provide excellent protection against curb damage and scratches. They were easy to install and fit perfectly. It's a small investment that goes a long way in keeping my rims in pristine condition. I highly recommend Rim Protectors to fellow Tesla owners!

Saved my rims!
I wish I’d known about these before I replaced my original rims! I’m a notorious curb scratcher, unfortunately, and my new rims also show wear. AlloyGators were recommended over the major competitor so I took a chance. They look great and covered the major “uglies”.Please note that I had them professionally installed by the local AlloyGators certified installers. I would recommend it since they accustomed to doing it. I took about an hour to get all four done.

Do not buy!
We purchased the rim protectors in June for our 2023 Tesla Model Y and had them installed by an alloy gator certified technician. A month after installation while driving down the highway the rear passenger rim protector flew off scrapping and denting the rear quarter panel. I assumed it was a fluke. Fast forward another month and half of the front passenger rim protector flew off while driving down the highway. This time it not only scrapped and dented the car, but also took out the blind spot camera. Very disappointing. Do not purchase!

Still not sure about these
I put these on a new 2023 Tesla Performance Model 3 with stock Pirelli Tires (235/35 R230) and 20” Uberturnine wheels. I contacted Alloygator ahead of time and they assured me that this product would work with this tire and wheel combination. I followed instructions by the book, as well as watching the manufactures install video(s). It's been 3 months. They look great and it's a nice piece of mind that my rims are protected some from curb rash. However, two wheels, mostly one, is having a little trouble hanging on to these protectors. They haven't fully come off while driving, THANKFULLY. When I've seen some separation between the protector and wheel, I lift the car to take weight off, remove all the air, spray with lubricant where it's coming out( Baby shampoo and water mixture) and pound it back to being flush. I do that with no air, 15 psi, and then fully inflated for good measure. I don't have a photo of the product sliding out from the wheel, but will add it if it happens again. I don't want to need to continue to do this. I've had to fix it four times now. Any tips from anyone out there?
