My shoe cobbler had a couple pairs of my shoes and was looking for sole protectors exactly like this. He had been waiting on his supplier for months. They had every color but red. I saw these on Amazon and decided to give it a try. My cobbler was excited, because they were exactly what he had been waiting months for. But he was shocked how expensive these were, compared to when he buys in bulk. But, I had already waited months to wear my shoes. I told him it’s less than 2% of the price of the shoes.I have now worn all 3 pairs of my red bottoms, even in the rain.They have held up perfect. No scuff marks on my soles and no fading or wearing on the red.

Good quality flexible sole which sticks well

I bought these to protect my new Loubs in a pinch because I don’t have time to go to the cobbler before wearing them. I purchased these as they are advertised as “instant grip”- which I naturally believed meant I could fix them on myself instantly. However I was really disappointed to find, after cutting out the correct shape for my shoes, that you need to either use “leather glue” or take these to the cobbler to fix onto your shoes. As I’d already cut them I am unable to return. Very disappointed.
