Fits great and packaged well

Stupid product. I’ve had Weather Tech hood defectors before and this one is garbage. It’s cheap plastic with a couple rows of double sided tape to hold it on, nothing more. The tape has gaps in it, so when crap gets through the gaps it will be permanently trapped against your hood paint. There is maybe a 1/8” gap between the two, no way you can clean it. Total trash. On top of that, I just tried to return it and they are trying to charge me $58 in shipping. Get real, I’ll contact Amazon tomorrow and get that taken care of. I just bought off brand rain defectors and they are nicer than the Weather Tech ones I’ve had in the past as well. Seems like WT is geared toward profit now and not quality. As a past customer for many years, I’m officially done now.

Nice protection of the hood of my 2024 Toyota Tundra.

The hood protector looks great on my 2025 Tundra SR Grey Metallic. Installation was pretty straight forward if you follow directions and take your time. My only complaint with the product itself is that the surface prep material appears to damage the painted surface - this isn’t clear in the instructions. This is all hidden by the hood protector so it shouldn’t matter, except if you ever want to remove it.Biggest complaint is with the shipping. Hood protector arrived in a very oversized box direct from WeatherTech but with no packing material to keep it from sliding around in the box. The box was damaged by the shipper but the hood protector looked OK - there is protective film on the top. When I removed the film after installation there were a couple significant scratches and a gouge in the hood protector. Not much I can do about - doubtful I could get the hood protector off, and if I did, the paint underneath is damaged!If I had known all this, not sure I would have bought it.

I love Weather Tech products and was nervous to stick this one to the hood of my 2024 Tundra Platinum. I've had others that were attached by using existing screws. I decided to go ahead anyway and pull the trigger. Take your time with applying it so it is lined up correctly. Having a second person helps. I really like how it looks and hope it will continue to stick through the seasons.
