I'll never get over how good this book was. Kindly Kincaid can do no wrong when it comes to writing. Her books are like no others and they always leave you wanting more. A MUST READ IF YOU HAVE NOT!

Holy wow. That was a short wild read and I’m here for it. I love love loved how the MMC was doing like commentary, honestly was my fav part. Seriously just read it

Not what I expected at all but it was still a good read. By that I mean I didn't have to think to hard about what was happening and it was just fun.

Please read all trigger and content warnings!I got this book after seeing it on TT. I was not disappointed when I started reading this book. I finished in a day! I could not put down, I was obsessed and had to know what was going to happen next.SPOILERS below you have been warned!This book follows Fallon who moves in with her grandmother after the tragedy of losing her father. This also follows Merrick, his tragedy happened 20 years prior to Fallon coming to live with her grandmother. Merrick is Fallons uncle but he is a ghost as he unalived himself to escape Port Canyon. He starts to haunt Fallon for coming to Port Canyon when she could have been free away from the cursed town. He fights his attraction to his Fallon and she fights her feelings for Merrick. The spirits of the graveyard that Fallons family watches over and tends to hatch a plan to end her grandmother’s reign over watching the dearly departed, she expects their respect and love for doing it, and can be cruel when she does not get her way. Fallon takes over and her and Merrick is there every step of the way with her. This does have a HEA! And don’t you worry this has plenty of spice 🥵 I give it 5 🌶️ out of 5.

I love this book so much. It's the funniest dark paranormal romance book ive ever read. Daddy Merrick has me giggling and kicking my feet the entire time. I love him so much. Definitely read the triggers! This book made Kinsley an auto buy author for!!

Umm. 😂 definitely check your triggers. It’s a great novella for spooky season. Her uncle? Lol that’s the only part that I just kept getting hung up on. I had to think of maverick as not her uncle especially with the spicy sense. The ending is a HEA so at least there’s that. It’s a great book which is why I gave it 4 stars.

Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️Merrick is a vibe 💯I love how he kept breaking the fourth wall too. 🤣And the small town of Port Canyon & the gothic manor sounds right up my street, when are we moving?This was a super fun, taboo, smut filled short story, that I really enjoyed! The history of Port Canyon & the families that reside there were so interesting!I cannot wait for the next installment in the Port Canyon Chronicles. 🖤🦇

I did not expect to devour this book as quickly as I did, and I loved every freaking second of it! The humour, the chemistry, the plot and the smut were top tier. I'm so happy I was picked to be an arc reader for this one, I am absolutely loved it. And nice to see Merrick got his karma at the end ;)
