A dream product for hair health absolutely worth it!
I love bond repair products and use bonding shampoos, conditioners, and other strengthening treatments regularly, so I had to try this after hearing such good things. I’ve been taking my hair health seriously this past year after years of bleach damage and growing my hair out from a short bob, and honestly, this Garnier Hair Filler has been a game changer. I have dry, thin hair, and the way this improves moisture, softness, and overall sturdiness is incredible. I use it after shampooing but before conditioning because I feel it works even better on clean hair — especially when I pair it with the L’Oréal Hydraplump conditioner. That combo has been an absolute dream for my strands. My hair feels noticeably softer, thicker, and healthier, and I’ve even seen less shedding since using it. For me to repurchase something (especially when I love trying new products constantly) really says a lot — and I’m already planning to buy another bottle. I used to swear by high-end hair care, but this past year I’ve learned that drugstore products have helped my hair more than most expensive ones, and this is a perfect example. Garnier always makes the best-smelling products, and at only $6, this has lasted me a couple of months and is easily one of the best value-for-money treatments I’ve tried. If you want healthier, stronger, softer hair without spending a fortune, this is 100% worth it!

It works
It actually works. My ends looks so much better. Just for transparency: I started to have significant hair loss about three years ago. I used to have long, gorgeous hair, and then it started to become brittle, breaking off up to my shoulders, and no matter what I did, a curling iron would leave my hair in one almost fused together looking, hard piece, like when you already have a ton of hairspray in it, but it didn't. So the first thing I tried that worked was the 8 second wonder water. There was an immediate improvement. My ends stopped doing the hard chunk thing, and was much softer. Then I came across Viori, the rice shampoo bar, and over time my hair loss reversed. Within the course of a year I recouped about 75% of what I'd lost. I'm not at 100% anymore, but between age and perimenopause, I'm just grateful to be where I am. I still have a decent amount of hair, although I do have some thinning around my face, which is super common at my age, so I'm looking for solutions for that and I'm grateful it's not my entire head thinning anymore. But anyway, I also started experimenting with heatless curls so that there was less damage from heat involved, and I get regular trims, but I still feel like my ends needed more help. I tried this stuff and there's an enormous difference in my ends. They actually look shiny now loke the top of my head, and this is just the first time I've used it. I wet my hair, applied it generously, and left it in for 30 minutes while I did other things around the house, and then followed up with my viori, wonder water, and John Freida leave in conditioner spray and frizz ease serum, which I'd like to point out that those two alone didn't make too much of a difference because I used those before using this. I guess I use them now because I have them amd don't want to waste them. But bottom line is of you need help, this should do it. I know it's a process but I can't imagine where I'd be if I hadn't found all of these products. I was doing serious wig shopping at the same time of my hair loss because I didn't have much hope in any of these products, but I've never been happier to be proven wrong. I hope these suggestions help someone else in my shoes. I know it's awful, but there may be hope!

good value, great hair!
this was purchased for my wife, she takes really good care of her skin and hair, and gets compliments all the time. she said this has just the right moisture level without being too heavy, and rinses clean. her hair is very thick, and this make it easier to detangle. gives her hair a nice shine and texture without looking greasy. she wound up getting the rest of the products in this series as well, as they are a very good value. happy wife, happy life!

Not bad for a drugstore brand
This isn't a true bond builder but it does contain hyaluronic acid and some silicones to strengthen the hair. It is an affordable option and I think you get a lot of product for what you pay. It smells like a drugstore brand, not that great but this is a pre shampoo product and that shouldn't matter too much. I did not use the "system" as it is not necessary at all. It is an easy product to use and has a conditioner like texture. Just wet your hair and leave it in for 5 minutes. You can also leave it in a little longer and it will not hurt your hair. Would I buy this again? No, I like Paul Mitchell Bond Rx better. I would still recommend this to someone new to fillers and bonding products as it is effective and affordable.

New HG hair product!
I'd been using Olaplex 3 for a few years, just not super often. But it was expensive, of course, so I didn't use it very much. I bought this together with the Garnier Bonding Conditioner and wow! My hair looks shiny and soft when it's dry. My hair has literally never, in my adult life, looked shiny and soft when it's dry. I have 2B-2C low porosity fine wavy hair that just wants to look kind of dehydrated and frizzy and sad when it's dry. I have tried so many things in my many years to make it look nicer: oil treatments (in the old days), invensive conditioners, salon visits, shine serums, going CG, going no-poo, protein treatments, moisture treatments, and so on and so forth. Nothing ever had any effect. But this does! I think it actually works better for me than Olaplex too. I see more revival of my curl pattern on the flatter side of my head. I'm not sure if it's because I'm also using the conditioner, but when something's this good I don't ask too many questions. Garnier! Haven't used them since the early 2000s! Who knew?!

Hard to use
Too thick to get out of container! Even removing the lid each time it doesn’t want to come out. Needs a squeezable container or a thinner consistency. The product itself seems to work well, smell is decent.

Abbey Yung Approved and I Can See Why!
I bought this after deciding to do the Abbey Yung Method to try to get my hair in better condition as it was one of her recommended bond fillers; I have low porosidy hair with slight wave that just always looked fried yet greasy at the roots. I've been using 1x/every 2 weeks or so and am super thrilled with how shiny and smooth my hair looks after I blow dry. The texture is thick and creamy with a light fruity/tropical scent that doesn't feel overwhelming to me. It is comparable to a leave-in conditioner texture. This will be a repurchase for me, I prefer the results I get using this bond filler to Olaplex and L'Oreal's EverPure Bond Repair Concentrate, even when doing the entire Abby Yung routine. I'm so grateful this is available online as I can't get it anywhere locally. I have yet to try K18 but given how well this bond filler works, I will save my money and stick with Garnier.

Fantastic Results for Bleach Damaged Hair
This stuff is SO good. I bleached black box dye out of my hair and as you can imagine it was FRIED. I didn’t have a big budget for bond builders but hoped a drug store brand would be able to help. Initially I used the Ogx bond builder line and it wasn’t doing much for my hair. And decided to try this after getting recommended it by AI. And after watching an Abby Yung video I used it AFTER shampooing my hair. And saw a huge difference in just one use. Suddenly my hair felt soft again, wasn’t looking like straw, felt like I could run a brush through it. I have fine hair texture and it hasn’t weighed it down. I’m so happy to have found this and the price point is fantastic with great results. I’d say go for it and if as a pre shampoo treatment doesn’t do it, try after shampooing.
