I love these paints! I know they're higher end student grade, but they are highly pigmented, flow easily, and activate very easy too. I let mine 'dry' in a palette and they reactivate easily and are so creamy 😊 I would highly recommend these for a serious beginner or hobbyist! The photo attached: I used them on Bee Inspired watercolor paper (non cotton) and they still came out lovely (mind my beginner skills lol).

Great quality paint and they will last a long time. The colors are beautiful.

I am pleasantly surprised that these less expensive watercolors are deeply pigmented. I usually but Daniel Smith, but the quality of these is smooth and mixes well. Some of my favorite colors aren’t available so will still buy DS paints.

I started watercolor painting in March and found that I liked it so well that I took a class. This set is what we used in class, so I purchased a set of tubes and an empty palette and set them up the way I wanted and I love the way they go onto the paper. I have other sets, but this is the one I use all the time.
