Super once it's on.
I wanted this rack so I could put some double panniers on the back of my bike. It's very well made and very light. It looks strong enough to take most knocks it might receive during it's life. You'll need some practical skills to put in on and may need to shorten a couple of the bars as I did to fit it properly, depending on the bike. A hacksaw did the job in less than 5 minutes and the frame fitted perfectly afterwards. It certainly looks the part once fitted and feels very sturdy. I would certainly recommend this item to anyone wishing to add carrying abilities to their bicycle but be prepared to spend half hour or so fitting it on, depending on your skills.

Good alternative for full suspension bikes.
I used this for a battery rack on a cheap full suspension mountain bike with an electric hub motor conversion, had to make a small bracket for the rack's seat post fixing to be mounted on the lower swing-arm of the rear fork (as the seat post and rear fork move relative to each other under load), but is all fitted and works perfectly. Rock solid and does the job very well. I can still use the rack to mount panniers so I can now carry stuff around easily. The 13Ah Lithium battery is bolted to the top and the rack does not move or wobble even when riding off road. It is a good sturdy frame and I'm very happy with it.Finding a rack to fit some cheaper full suspension bikes can be tricky, but this can be adapted quite well without modifying the rack in any way.

Excellent design and quality
I've just bought a new touring hybrid which came with a rack, however it was badly bent out of shape during transit. Luckily the bike all appears fine, but I needed a new rack. This model is wider to allow for the wider stays on bikes with disc brakes, also for a modest cost of just over £20 is very well made, I particularly like the bars to the seat stays which blend in nicely with the rack. On my bike there is a gap across the stays of 7.5 inches (to the outside threaded fixings), the rack is about 8 inches and has enough 'give' to fix in without the supplied spacers. The rack does require fixing points to be part of your frame (same style as bottle mountings). The reason I give this 5 stars is that it came very well packed in paper wrap and then inside a sturdy cardboard box. The rack is very well made and the deciding feature is the double bar design, this means I can attach my panniers to the lower bar and have room to fix a rack bag on top. The standard single design ones often make that more difficult to do. The light on the rack was not included, but I bought this on Amazon too.

Sturdy rack but seems designed to take Ibera panniers only
This is a great rack and really easy to assemble and fit. I had no problems with screws, they were all there and didn't strip during assembly. I have a couple of issues with it that mean it doesn't get five stars. The biggest issue for me is that no matter what position I place my panniers, the bottom clip doesn't engage with the rack and means they're liable to come off over bumpy ground. I have two different panniers, one a full length Halfords branded bag and the other a short Ortlieb clone. Neither fit properly but I just make sure they are strapped together with a carabina so I don't lose either. Clearly these racks are designed for Ibera panniers but with the design looking fairly universal I hoped my bags would fit.The other issue is clearance between the and rack. I purchased this as it advertised as being 29er compatible. I only have 27.5" wheels and there is barely any clearance on my bike - particularly when you take into account the light bracket. I had hoped to fit a full length mudguard as my commute includes a mile and a half of thick muddy towpath but there is barely any room. I've tried without mudguard and ended up covered head to toe in mud. I'll find a solution eventually but it's an inconvenience at the moment. I like the rack and think it is great but it just doesn't quite fit my needs.

Easy to fit/adjust
I'm really pleased with this rack. Fitted it to my elderly Specialized Sirrus with no problems at all (so calipers rather than disc brakes). I'm not at all "handy" but found this very easy to fit. I didn't really follow the instructions, though - just looked at the photos on the website to see how it was meant to work. It's very sturdy and took quite a bit of weight on the panniers when I did my last shop. The best thing is how easy it is to adjust so you can make sure the rack is level. Would definitely recommend.

When only the best will do.
When only the best will do. THIS IS Nicely made piece of kit, also have the Ibera Bicycle Clip-on Quick-Release Panniers (Pair) and the Ibera PakRak Bicycle Quick-Release Commuter Trunk Bagl and Ibera Bicycle All Weather Rain Cover for Commuter Bags and Panniers and have now also got the Ibera Extra Lightweight Alloy Bottle Cage, 29gm, Black to match too, also the Elite Trinkflasche Supercorsa Mtb Super Corsa Bottle-Clear Red, 0.75 litre , also I have fitted the Busch + Müller Toplight Line Brake Plus Rear Rack LED Light red Size:80 mm,on the break light plate, so looks really smart now, overall it all fits great and is easy to use, but at the same time very secure whilst traveling...if you are going to do it,do it right .Fitted on a bike with 700c X 42 Wheels with disc breaks

Decent but overpriced
It’s a decent rear bike rack and does the job, but it’s way too expensive for what it offers. In my opinion, it’s not worth more than £20. And broken after two weeks.

Robust, good looking, and functional
I have been using this rear rack on my disc brakes equipped bicycle for about a year now. The Ibera IB-RA5 is solid and well made, including the bolts that connect it to the frame (I know other customers had had issues with those): I can lift the bicycle, no less than 15 kilograms accessories included, holding it by the handlebar and the rack. Installing and removing it was also straightforward, which is convenient when adding or changing a rear light or reflector. It even has a line of bags designed for use with it. For me, definitely a good buy.
