I am very happy with these security cameras. The app works well, although everything could have some improvement, the cameras are very clear and easy to use. These cameras have a few features that I absolutely love. The biggest is the tracking feature. If it detects a person, it will move and keep that person in frame. The next is the spotlight. It is very bright, and really shows people that they are being recorded. It is also nice because if I walk outside, the light turns on and follows me so I have a nice lighted path. Make sure you order some micro SD cards for them so they can record. The recordings are fast to look at, but there is no way to play back recordings at a higher speed and the motion detection has issues, but the recordings are still there, which is important.

I have 6 of these now as my home setup.Most no longer work properly. Auto firmware update ruined 3 of them. they dont last, do not buy these. Tenda has no support, ive tried to contact them to no avail to get them fixed or replaced under warranty.

I've bought quite a few PTZ cameras and so far it is one of the best. A unique feature is it actually will patrol preset points or choose 360 degree panoramic patrol. Minimum time at each point is 10 mins. You can schedule the patrol. It's not like other cameras that you have to hit patrol and goes to 3 presets points once or twice and then stops. On this camera once you set Patrol up it does its thing on its own ... for hours if you want. It's a GREAT feature. It also tells me the rotation hardware must be good or it won't last long, not sure which it is yet. I've had this running for about a month patrolling 2 preset points every 10 min for about 5 hrs every night. So far so good. I haven't used motion detection much but it picked up my ducks movement. Not sure that's a good thing for others but it's great for me. lol Night vision is really good. I can make out deer about 50-75' away depending on moonlight. The device is a bit bigger than some of my other cameras, no big deal for me. The one negative is the WiFi range is just ok, it's not as good as 3 different cameras I had in the same spot. Overall so far I'm very pleased. I'll update this review if I have any new information good or bad.

Fairly easy to set up. I liked the seprate mounting bracket it came with. It made it very easy to mount. Most of the other cameras need longer bits to get around the odd angles needed to mount them. This usually leads to stripped out screws. The picture isn't the sharpest. A little bit blurry. Not great for far shots but I don't mind as this camera is inside my chicken houe so I can see who is setting and if the door is opening and closing like it should.

I bought to check on my elderly mom who lives far away from me. Works perfect, I can check on her and call her through the cam directly.

Spent a FULL afternoon trying to get this to work. Would only connect using ethernet and would not connect using WiFi. Lert me be clear; the camera DID NOT WORK WITH WiFi. Yes I have 2.4ghz WiFi. Tried multiple resets and re-dos before giving up. When the camera did connect via ethernet cable, the image was not sharp. Camera does work using generic IP camera app on a PC and using the TEDEE app. However with the PC app using ONIVF, it only worked at 720p resolution. To note, the support bracket seemed flimsy, and the camera pod was not well attached to the support bracket. Seemed like it was hanging on rubber bands which I would expect to cause the camera to bounce around on a windy day. Camera has an annoying aspect in that it turns the LEDs on FULL BLAST when initializing; blinding! Don't be directly in front of the camera when installing and turning it on. Had bought two, and sent them BOTH back to Amazon. Should have believed the 60% positive rating.

I gave this as a gift, and I feel more secure now that I’ve seen how well the camera works. It has a wide range of options, the alerts come through quickly, and the bang for your buck is extremely good.

- My camera arrived quickly and well packaged - Included everything needed to get it installed with simple instructions and a template for drilling the mounting plate holes which was convenient - Does not include sd card though but the camera was priced very well so that's understandable - Downloaded the TDSEE app from Google Play - App requires you to register before using it - Installation instructions very basic and install process was a bit confusing at first as you need to connect to the camera itself via wifi before connecting to your wireless network. - I found the power cable for the camera to be long enough for my application and the usb power adapter was included - Once I had it running, the TDSEE app offers most of the basic camera functionality that's required for daily camera use. - I really wanted local storage only and was happy to see that the camera offers both cloud and local sd card storage - I also wanted to set up my camera with a static IP address. This can be done however, you need to use the WebUI interface to make this change. - Before making my camera purchase, I had learned of the webUI interface and was able to download an instruction manual from the Tenda website - The WebUI interface is featured rich and provides you the ability to set a static IP address and provides additional settings for the camera not found in the TDSEE App - My installation is inside so I can't comment on outdoor performance or longevity with harsh weather conditions - I've been using the camera for almost 1 month now, with no problems at all - Overall, really pleased with my purchase and wouldn't hesitate to buy another or recommend it to others - Get one when they're in sale - you'll be pleased you did.

Tenda ch7 outdoor camera, don’t bye. The camera is very good with all cpecification I bought four. They all worked fine until the software was updated by the seller. They even updated without your approval. After the update all camera went off line saying your account doesn’t exist. The only choice to use them is to subscribe. What a sham and ripoff.

Tenda CH7 was easy to install, has great 4MP video quality and lots of features. Can use an SD card to record or store on cloud (paid subscription) has 2 way audio communication, alarm flashing and high decibel siren, infrared night vision, camera can be rotated and tiled via app. Has human amd vehicle monitoring and fast alerts. Only negative is 2.4Ghz network only.

Works well and has some good features Great bang for your buck

ne se connecte pas à mon réseau, il cherche à me faire accepter un WAN direct en Chine... malgré le reset il avait gardé le IP d'ici. je ne trouve pas ça drole. je vais réessayer plusieurs reset et voir si je le démoli ou l'utilise
