Bought the car with only one fob, never know when a second might be needed, so got this as our backup. Works exactly as promised, just like the factory one. Easy to program. The instructions included did not work, but the YouTube video did.

Before you buy, read this first.
It doesn't come with the programming instructions. The website link lets you download a browser named Shift with an app Manuals. Then, you can do your research with nothing. I am very mad about it. If you are lucky enough, go to YouTube to learn how to program the fob. There are changes you will make it. I am the unlucky one. It's a scam, and I just returned it.

My tacoma fob died after running through batteries every two weeks. I took a chance on this product. seems to be 'well built' as plastic goes. I hate programing these things as it involves opening, closing the vehicle door every 1/2 second, plug in the key into the ignition, yada, yada....I found a short but sweet YouTube video and followed right along. In about 1 minute (if even that) had the new fob programed and ready to go. It does what its supposed to do and does it well. I'm very happy with my purchase!!

Wouldn't program to 2007 tundra
Would not program to 2007 Tundra. Even cleared out all my keyfobs and retried. No issues reprogramming my old keyfob, software would recognize button was being pressed with software in troubleshoot, but would not program to my truck. Have done other remotes for this truck in past with no issues
