I need it
A good way to reduce stress. There is too much stress in life. You need to find ways to release it. Squeezing it with your hands is also one of the best ways. It is non-toxic and does not stick when you squeeze it in your hands. in hand.

Very Theraputtic .. Can be messy
This therapy kit is great. I really like all the different levels of stiffness. Not one of them is very soft, but the hardest one is quite hard. It kind of works as a stress ball.I did let my daughter keep this at her bedside so she could mess with it as she was falling asleep, but that was a mistake. It clung to her bed spread and sheets and was difficult to get off... But it did help calm and relax her to help her sleep :)If you're wanting to use this as a sort of play dough or play putty, it won't really work for that, but it's a nice thing to keep on hand for homeschool when someone gets work done before the other one and you just need them to have something to mess with for a couple minutes before you're ready to move on.Highly recommend, as I can see this coming in handy for a variety of uses.

Not sticky (Good!), yet even the softest was challenging
I've used Therapy putty in the past, and know it can be very beneficial for rehab. This is good putty, and I especially like that it is less sticky than others I've used. That lets me manipulate it and peel it off of my hand or the table without reminents left behind. This stuff will definitely help you exercise and strenthen your hands (or feet).6 tubs of varying color-coded resistence, come in a cylinder that has a screw cap on top. And each tub individually seals, as well. One thing that was noticeable right away was that even the XX-SOFT was a challenge for me. Now, I realize I am very weak right now, but comparing this to another brand's "soft", I found that the Venoka therapy putty in XX-Soft (orange) gave me more resistance than the "soft" in my other brand. And the medium (purple)? Well, I was able to squeeze it, but wasn't able to mamipulate it without a lot of effort. Is that bad? Maybe not. For someone with an average amount of hand strength, the various levels of resistence will definitely help you gain strength and dexterity. If you are particularly weak (or for young children), you may find this putty is highly challenging, and you may need to start with something even softer than what this kit offers.

Multiple resistance
I like the fact that this putty comes color coded for the resistance that it is. It is great for working on hand strength and gross motor skills. My only warning is do not let them touch each other, you will never get the other color out. Also, don't put it on the carpet.

Therapy Putty is all the same
The screw lid on the top is definitely not intended for the one needing therapy to open - its low profile makes it a little hard to open. The container does have a seal inside to keep all the putty fresh. After opening the little tub, all the putty is the same resistance, evne though they are supposed to be different. I let them warm up in my hands and can feel the softer putty release, but start working it and the putty is no different than the others.

Only slight differences in softness between each, with softest still pretty tough
I have used therapy putty in occupational therapy many times as I've dealt with temporary paralysis and arthritis for years. This is very similar to the thera putty I have used in therapy. There are 6 different color putty tubs that are different firmness, XX Soft to X Firm, there is a very small discernable difference between each, but the XX Soft is still pretty tough, and hard for my arthritic hands to manipulate. The tubs have the same color of the putty inside on the label, so you should be able to put them back in the correct tubs. Also, all 6 of the tubs fit into a larger tube with a screw top, so you can keep all together. I would prefer a more discernable difference in firmness between them with the XX Soft being much softer, It would also be helpful if the company included a sheet with suggested exercises, as I have seen in another therapy putty set. I know of exercises to do, but if someone has not used therapy putty in therapy, they could use those suggestions. Overall, I recommend this set, especially for people who know what to do with therapy putty.

Challenging resistance!
A little hard to get out of the tubs the first time but once out very nice - almost odorless and no residue left on hands.I started with the X-Soft and was a surprised how firm it was. Thought maybe if it warmed closer to body temp that it might get easier but no noticeable difference. So then I tried out the firmest (black) putty and wow what a workout.I’ve not used exercise putty before but these are a keeper and I’m adding to my routine as I’ve noticed a loss of hand and finger strength as I’ve gotten older. I’m hoping this helps strengthen my hands and fingers and perhaps positively impact my finger arthritis.Recommended.

Not sticky or greasy, but all same resistance
This is a nice set of putty, not greasy or sticky like some putty I have messed with in the past. The only thing is that there does not seem to be any difference between very soft and very hard. It all feels exactly the same just different colors.
