The Yaufey dehumidifier is a 5-star product and is worth every penny. It comes with a one-year manufacturer warranty, but if you register your unit online, the warranty is extended to 2 years. I’ve had this dehumidifier for about 5 months, and it has worked beautifully. Setup was as simple as unboxing, allowing the unit to sit upright for 24 hours, and plugging the unit into an AC receptacle. I absolutely love the way it looks. The quality of build is a sleek modern design, solidly built, and super easy to operate with a touch-pad control panel. This dehumidifier has been a total game-changer for my home. Besides being one of the quietest dehumidifiers I have ever owned, it also features a big, bright digital display on the front panel of the unit indicating the current humidity. There is something reassuring about seeing that humidity report, every time I walk into my basement. Overall, I’m extremely impressed with the functioning of this dehumidifier. It reduces moisture rather quickly, especially when set to high speed. You can use a drain hose to let the evaporated water drain directly into your basement sump, or for living areas, you can use the internal water collecting tank. I'm writing this review not only because it's an excellent product, but in my opinion, the Yaufey Model #JD025Q-80 home dehumidifier deserves at least a 5-star rating, and possibly more.

This may be the best dehumidifier ive ever owned. It runs quiet, easy to use and does the job perfectly. I use it in a 1500 sq feet basement and it easily keeps the air at the humidity level I need..... would definitely recommend this to anyone needing a dehumidifier.

Had unit for 2 months and the dehumidifier worked great, kept my basement around 45% humidity and was not a loud as my older friedrich that I still own. Was very impressed with the new unit, but all of a sudden my humidity level on the very accurate gauge I use to read temp/humidity shot up from 45% to 63%. I tried unplugging the unit, lowered the unit to 30% , but it was just not collecting any water nor blowing hot air. The compressor stopped working.. I contacted yaufey and they sent me another unit and a paid return label to send back old unit. The replacement unit seems to be working great except the pump is much noisier with this 2nd unit.. Time will tell how long this one will last.. Hoping I do not have another issue.. Otherwise its a great unit and would recommend..

This is a great price for this size dehumidifier! Worked great in our damp basement. Love the ease of setup and how you can set up in just minutes! Very quiet when it runs! Highly recommend

I bought this unit for my 4000 sq foot home. My enclosed Sunroom is quite large. So, I bought the unit primarily to control the moisture in that room. The room started at 72% humidity. I started the unit and within 2 hours my independent readings across the room were reading down to 51%. I plan to buy a smaller unit for the attached apartment. Note: The unit came with a foot that was broken causing the tank to leak. I contacted the chat on the Yaufey site. They requested specific information and a picture of the issue. I sent what they asked for and had a new tank within 24 hours. AMAZING customer service. I intended to use the drain hose instead of the tank. However, the tank is large enough that I can move the unit around the house without having to be concerned with the drain. The tank is large but easily managed when full. I highly recommend this unit based on results. I highly recommend Yaufey based on their customer service!

I've had this dehumidifyer for several months now and it has worked great! It is quite powerful and does a great job removing the moisture from my basement. It looks nice and is easy to use. The price was reasonable too. I would highly recommend this product.

I’ve had this unit for nearly a year and it’s been a great unit. This is my first unit and am always amazed to see how well it works. It’s nice to have the drain hose which we use when we leave for days at a time and just place the unit near a drain.

I had a high hope with this seems every-corner-covered dehumidifier. I have a mixed feeling after two weeks. The dehumidifier functions work very well, neat design, and noise level is manageable. The main headache is the pump function. The manual says that the tank is full before pump starts to work. It is not the case. Pump works when there is no water in tank. There have been several instances that the pump functions shut down by itself overnight without apparent reason. There is no issue with drain pipe. I am still puzzled of what caused the pump to shutdown. As a result, I won’t buy this model for my Florida home, which I keep vacant for several months during summer wet months. The pump function is not reliable but I still appreciate that it shuts down automatically when the tank is full. Update on 9/2. The customer support reached out to me and offered free exchange for "pump malfunction". After several round of email exchange, we concluded that my observations were due to the manual not the machine. First: for 150 pints with pump function, there are two water tanks. The pump starts to pump when the pump water tank is full, not the big tank. The pump water tank was never stated in the manual and it's not visible nor accessible. Second, the end of pump drainage should not have any resistance, such as water back up. When there is resistance, the pump will automatically shut down. It was not stated in the manual, and I thought it was due to machine malfunction. I ended up plug the end of drainage line to the toilet water tank, which has no resistance, and it works. Changed the rating from three stars to four because of the great customer service and their promise to improve the manual. Now I will order another one for my Florida home since I know how to make this machine works.

C'est un produit efficace pour réduire l'humidité trop élevé dans la maison. Nous avons un rez-de-chaussée à aire ouverte soit un 4 1/2 pièces et c'est parfait. Il n'est pas trop pesant si je veux le transporter au sous-sol. Le réservoir est petit donc il faut le vider souvent. Lorsqu'il est plein, une lumière rouge clignote et un petit bruit se fait entendre. Le produit n'est pas très bruyant à basse vitesse mais évidemment plus bruyant à haute vitesse.

This unit is fairly quiet, and works very well. The big problem is the size of the water basin. I was emptying it 2 or 3 times a day, so I returned it.

I have now received the negotiated refund as an Amazon gift card. All correspondence with vendor has been civilized and accommodating. Any customer service issues with a company in a much different time zone takes a long time, so patience will be required. Ultimately, Yaufey has come through. Sept 15**Still waiting for the negotiated partial refund. I'm not sure why an attempted deposit to a non-existent PayPal account would take so long to reverse. I'm not hopeful at this point that I will receive anything to compensate for the defunct dehumidifier. **Sept 2023, I negotiated a partial refund of purchase price, and told Customer Service I would amend my review to a positive one once the refund was received. I got notice it was put in a Paypal account (I don't have a Paypal Account), and would I now amend the review? hmmm.....I think the biggest problem with after sales service is the one business day turnaround for any correspondence (I suspect there is a 12 hour time difference from central Canada), so NOTHING gets resolved quickly. oh well...........**I used this the first time in my kitchen. RH showed 54%, it was 51% by morning with about 750ml of water in reservoir. It is now in the basement, so we'll see what it can do there.**Unit now leaks directly onto floor, does not flow through hose or into container. Two email requests to customer service and no response yet. No answer at all at customer service phone number. Hmmm. It worked really well for juuuuust under a year (next week is a year), so I guess cost to use is $200 plus electricity per year. Steer clear. **I have since been in contact with Customer Support, and they offered me a free replacement, including shipping, for a positive review. Or I could pay shipping to Ontario for it to be replaced or repaired (shipping both ways on me) OR I could get a replacement unit but I have to Paypal the shipping cost to "Chad@Yaufey" - Life is too short for this :)

Yaufey 2500 Sq. Ft Home Dehumidifier helped resolve the humidity issue for a small room in our basement. The unit was small, efficient, quiet and mobile and the timer option was a great feature. I would recommend the product for those who require.

This unit worked fine for the first summer, but when I plugged it in for summer 2024 the fan seemed to be working but not one drop of humidity was removed!!!
