New Balance Women's FuelCore Nergize Sport V1 Cross-Trainer Shoes

I work for a moving company. Every day I carry all kinds of furniture on all types of surfaces. I usually just buy my shoes from Walmart because my kids shoes cost a fortune and I destroy shoes really fast. I decided this time to change it up and get myself a cute, nice pair.First thing I noticed is I didn’t have to go through the painful “breaking them in phase”. Usually when I buy a new pair, my back and feet will hurt for the first few days. That didn’t happen this time which is always a plus.The shoes arrived quickly, exactly how they were described and they are really cute!I hate buying the anti-slip shoes because they are so bulky and uncomfortable to walk in, so I always look for shoes with decent tread on the bottom. These do great. I haven’t slipped on the ramp or wet tile so far.The material on the side is a little stretchy which is awesome. I usually tie my shoes the first time I put them on, then I don’t untie them. If they start to feel loose I may redo it (I know that’s not very grown-up of me, but oh well). Although they are stretchy, they still stay on my feet when I’m walking backwards.I also wear them to run or if I’m just walking around a lot that day. They do well in every situation.The shoes also do great for quick drying. If I’m working in the rain or the shoes get sweaty and I need to wash them, they dry quickly and are ready to go the next morning without being smelly. They are great shoes, I will probably be buying another pair for the day I bust out of them.

A few things about these...1. Comfort: They are very comfortable, almost like walking in slippers or booties. This is a good thing if you’re using these for walking around but not for exercise. I don’t think they provide enough support for running or exercise, personally.Color: I got the Logwood/Pale Blue color. I love it. But I think the description and screen color are off. There is no pale blue on these sneakers (just some silver outlining) and they are much more blush/pink on the photos. In real life they have more of a tan/purple hue - which I personally love and think it will make a great casual sneaker for me for wearing around the house and going out for errands.Sizing: They do run small so I would say size up at least .5 a size. I wear 7.5 in sneakers so I got an 8.Conclusion: Overall, I feel they are very stylish, cute, comfy and meet my needs for a casual shoe.

Shoes have been difficult as of late...in December 2022 I had my heel and Achilles reconstructed. After surgery I found my normal shoes to difficult to wear. They hurt my incision and were really tight due to swelling. I have the slip on version of these and they have been comfy and soft. I first bought another New Balance trail running shoe Size 10 Wide. No matter what they are just insanely uncomfortable on my foot. They just felt too short on the problem foot. Size 11 wide is just too big! So I scoured an affordable option under $50 and came across these on "sale". I've had them on for an hour walking around the house and it seems to be a good choice! The heel box is soft and all the material is stretchyish. They have black laces instead of the white in pic but they may have white in the box...I went with a size 10.5 Wide...I'm in S Texas and barely wear socks so I don't have any on with them but I would need thinner socks than what I have. This weekend will be the test we have a big fundraiser and I will be on my feet a lot.

I was looking for a casual, comfortable, no-tie athletic shoe for summer. These shoes caught my eye because they reminded me of a stylized, updated take on old-school saddle shoes, and the idea of fuschia saddle shoes just made me giggle. I browsed for awhile but kept coming back, so ordered 1/2 size up as suggested. They fit perfectly and are super comfortable. I would have to go up another 1/2 size if I wanted to wear an athletic sock, but they're just for casual wear so I just wear sock liners. They aren't super supportive, but have enough for a trip to the supermarket or pharmacy. They are cute with jeans, and I think they'll look cute with a white jeans skirt and tee shirt this summer. For the price, I'm happy with my purchase.Edit: I spilled a bowl of tomato -based vegetable soup on my shoes and was afraid they were ruined. I decided to throw them in the wash with a load of light colors after pretreating with stain remover, and washed in cold water. I let them air dry, and they look and fit like brand new.

Good fit and breathable, but after a year of continuous use for work, the bridge isn't very supportive anymore and my feet hurt at every step... Wish they would've lasted me a bit longer

This is my 2nd pair of these shoes, love them. Comfortable, true to size, lightweight (perfect for warmer weather).

updating my review from a few days ago: since they were beyond return date and were no good as they were, I pulled out insole and found a wad of brown paper under it. I assume it landed in there accidentally during final production steps, but regardless, I removed it, replaced sole, and they're good to go. These are nice, lightweight, slip on sport shoes.previous review: I bought these in June for my daughter who's out of the country. Got them to her in August. She started wearing them in Sept as it cooled off and really liked them, but just realized recently there's a hard, marble sized lump of something underneath the glued down insole in middle of one shoe. Not supposed to be there. I think it will probable become painful or more noticeable the more she wears them. I'm sure it's an unintentional flaw and would like to exchange for another pair but they're past the "return window."I have a pair of these that I love, however.
