Light and comfortable
I really like this fly mask. My devil mare thinks it’s a game to see how quick she can put a hole in them. Despite them not lasting a season due to my mare being a brat, I love how they fit and feel. Made well.

Please see the photo of my daughter’s warmblood wearing this mask. Unlike other masks we’ve tried where the mesh pressed against the horse’s eyes, there is plenty of room in this one. The mesh is so fine that my daughter says she could ride while he is wearing it, the vision is excellent. (She put it on and looked through it.) It has a very soft and silky main portion of the mask, and generous eye and ear openings with plenty of mesh. Keeps flies and bug out of his eyes and ears. Doesn’t bother him at all, he has not tried to rub it or get it off. I hope this review and photo was helpful in making your decision.

Great product
for using something in the spring, summer and fall, this is the product that was super easy to place on the horses, super easy to wash which I loved, and durable for what they go through;; would buy again for sure and actually bought 2 more so when I'm washing the one set for my two horses, I have back up. Thanks.

Mesh is easily torn.
I love everything about this fly mask. The color is a vibrant Royal blue. The size Medium is a perfect fit, just enough stretch that I can easily put in on her face and over her ears with out a struggle. But, after day two I noticed a small tear in the mesh by her left eye. Day three there was an addition tear on her cheek closer to the seam on the same side. Even though it has holes, it is still doing its job - keeping the flies off. I removed the mask for a 24 hour break after day three and she has no signs of rub anywhere. The fifth day of wear I noticed that the black piping seam by the ears is torn. I definitely think that there can be improvements made to the mesh and overall quality of the product, but I am still thrilled to have something for her that is comfortable and provides relief from the flies!FYIFresca is a gentle mare in a outdoor paddock with little items to get hung up on. So I feel that this particular mesh is too fragile.I have additional masks that I purchased for my geldings on my 80 ranch. Gonna try them tomorrow. There is lots that they can get torn on so it should be interesting. Will post an update.

Great Quality
I've used quite a few different brands of stretchy fly masks and I quite like this brand. It's affordable and the fit is fine. One of the biggest issues with stretchy fly masks are the eye holes. MANY masks are sold with mesh that's designed to be way too close to the horse's eyes, causing irritation or even injury. These masks have darts in the mesh around the eye holes which helps keep the mesh away from the eyes and there's enough material to keep the mesh away from the eyes as well. I personally like to turn my masks inside out so that the seams of the mask aren't touching the horse. I bought the horse size for my 16hh QH and it fits great. My mask arrived in very nice packaging as well, which was a nice touch.I just want to also say for those folks who aren't very familiar with stretchy masks: holes are probably going to happen. Horses love to shove their faces into things and they'll likely put a couple holes into the masks after awhile. It's no big deal. The tradeoff for getting a light-weight, breathable, no vision-impairment, tight-fitting mask is that the materials are naturally not as durable as a triple-ply coated traditional mask. Got holes in the mesh? Grab a bit of superglue, dab it on the cut edges, and let it dry between wax paper. Holes in the lycra? Sew it up or superglue it. No big deal.

Destroyed easily with scratching eyes
The mask is very nice becasue the flies cannot get in the sides however it is easily destroyed with scratching or if caught on something. I have tried to use this mask many times with many different horses and they all become shredded.

Good mask
This mask form fits the horse’s head, goes on and off easy and is harder for horses to remove on their own. The only drawback is that the ear and eye mesh do not stand up well if your horse likes to rub her face on trees and fences. Then plan in order 2 or 3 to get through the season.

Size runs small
I purchased a Full/Large for my Thoroughbreds. They were very!! tight which made them difficult to put on. The fly masks were tight around their chins. Horses let you know when they are not happy. Mine were not pleased with these fly masks. The more clever of my horses went to the nearest pine tree and rubbed until he get it off. The second thing I dislike is that the screening for the eyes and ears is very stiff. Other fly masks I have purchased have had much softer screening.I will go back to Chicks Saddlery from now on. They have decent prices, good service and better fly masks.

Poor quality
To begin with they sent the wrong color. Should have been navy blue but they sent purple. Very cheap quality and easy to rip/snag on objects especially the ear and eye material.

Fit almost perfect
Mask fits perfectly except for the length of ears. They are rather short and causing my horses ears to bend. I have to cut the tips off so that it can fit properly.

Gran calidad pero no heavy duty
Excelente para caballos y ambientes tranquilos y no excesivos en insectos y caballos que se restregan la cabeza con la máscara puesta contra paredes, no resiste dicho trato “rudo”
