Happy with this purchase, really supports the seat.

Overall it does the job but I think it would work better if it was thicker

We've had our sofa suite for about a decade now and it's safe to say time has definitely taken it's toll on the suite! One of the sofa cushions is far worse than the others, it was practically unusable and had always caused a bit of embarrassment when guests came over. This foam cushion is a quick fix to that problem as it gives just enough lift to revive the sofa cushion to a usable state!The foam is quite thin and spongy, but is still firm enough to provide a bit of support. However, I do think the foam is a little overpriced for purpose and quality of the product. Overall, it's not a permanent solution for a slumped sofa cushion but it will definitely extend the cushions life for a few more months until we can replace the sofa!

My sofa was beyond repair. Half of it had sagged to the point where I simply sank into the couch if I sat on that side. It was incredibly uncomfortable. At this stage, I was just waiting until I could afford to purchase a new one... This was until I received this Gionar foam.It's a large 50cm x 50cm square that is sent rolled up. Once unpacked, the piece lays flat. It's thick but not hard and surprisingly comfortable. The quality is also really good.I used it on the collapsed part of the sofa and it's given it a new life. It's so comfortable that I now just sit on the side mended with the foam square. I love it and highly recommend it.

+ Placing the foam on the seat of our armchair has raised the height of the seat cushion (which can sometimes be a good thing, for those who struggle to get in and out of a chair) and has restored a level of firmness to the seat cushion closer to what it was like when new.+ Apart from firming up the seat cushion atop the foam, you cannot tell that anything has been placed beneath the cushion. There are no lumps, or discomfort felt.+ The foam is easily manipulated between the arms of a three-piece-suite armchair; Our armchair was a touch smaller than the foam's dimensions, but by pressing the foam into place and putting the seat cushion atop it, there is no issue in squeezing it into place.+ The foam cushion is shaped as shown in the product details, with a humped curve on the upper side.+ The foam is of durable quality.- Expensive. Similar foam cushions can be bought (online or from bricks and mortar stores) at a considerable saving, compared to the £19.99(GBP) price of this item. Though, I've not seen any of these, cheaper foam pieces to be shaped with a hump.- Eventually, this foam cushion will flatten under the weight of use. How long that will take is an unknown question and depends upon how often it is sat up. Again, it's a question of the £19.99(GBP) price...Would it be more cost efficient to purchase a cheaper piece of foam to do the same job.All in all, we're awarding this product 4 STARS. We're knocking off 1 star due to the price, as we feel it is expensive.

This product arrives shrink-wrapped, so the package isn't as big as you might expect.To use, simply lift up your seat cushion, place the foam underneath it and replace the cushion.I used this on the depressed/sunken corner seat on our sofa. It instantly made it much more comfortable and as it was when first purchased. I feel that its added a few more years into the use of this sofa, so I'm really happy with this product. I just need to purchase more for some of the other seats now!Although this may appear to be a lot of money for a piece of foam, it is already cut to size and shaped into a dome. I feel that it's a much more cost-effective and simple way to extend the life of your sofa and avoid costly repairs.

What an absolute con! Shocking at the price too! It’s just a bit of cheap foam that no way has the density to support a cushion from underneath. Plus it hasn’t regained its shape having been folded in half so dips in the middle where it’s supposed to support the most

The foam support seat arrived in a small box, compressed into a smaller yellow tube shape, which made me wonder how it could support any weight by 50cm x 50cm on a sofa. It was very difficult to unwrap without damaging the foam, but I managed it eventually. Then it was wrapped again doubled over in a polythene bag, finally after extraction it looked thinner. However it does provide some support as shown but I am not convinced that the price is worthy.
