Everything as expected. I Like the weight of the chamber. The tubes were difficult to get on, I had to use tools for grip, but they seal very well. I had a minor problem with the plug on the gauge, be gentle with it, mine slipped through the hole it was meant to plug. Gauge still works fine though. Liquids tend to boil and splash onto the inside, but it cleans very easy. I am impressed with the gasket. - Thank you to the manufacturer.

It seems loose I tried re- tightening everything no change it doesn't hold a vacuum very well I've had a few of these chambers the metal pot chamber holds a vac for days this one drops in less than 6 hours and not just a little but over half so you gotta re-pump it 3 or 4 times a day which is very annoying I'm not sure if it's a poorly designed lid or if it's faulty but either way I wouldn't recommend it especially for wax it does have one good point it is much easier for keeping the heat at a consistent temp in my case a hundred degrees and if you can tolerate the poor vac issues I did make one of my best batches of wax ever so it has good and bad points

We used this for a science project where we needed a vacuum that would be pretty steady for a month or so. We used the Bacoeng pump as well, and together they worked very well. We turned on the pump for less than a minute a day to maintain the vacuum. We're not professional lab scientists, but it suited our purposes extremely well and the experiment was a complete success.
