Lots of funs!
Got this for my son's birthday, and he's absolutely thrilled with it! The speed it offers is surprisingly decent for a brushed motor, handling hills and straight runs with ease. It's an unbeatable deal for the price, making it a perfect entry-level car for kids looking to dive into the hobby. While the shocks could be better since they're not oil-filled, they do the job well on smoother terrain.

Fun truck that could benefit from some modifications
This thing looks awesome and is a ton of fun to drive. It’s a lot quicker than my wpl c24, but it also can not crawl nearly as well. It’s pretty top heavy so rolls rather easily and the very springy suspension isn’t much help either. New to this rc truck hobby so not entirely sure what mods to make to keep it planted better on the ground, but maybe I will add some weight to the wheels somehow to get the weight under the axle. Or perhaps metal axles and upgraded shocks. Either way, I love playing with it in the yard or on trails. I thought this model had a 2 speed motor, but I was mistaken; only one speed. Maybe another upgrade down the road will be the 2 speed 370 motor and a 3 or 4 channel radio to be able to change gears. You could spend the extra money on a better optioned rtr rc truck, which I may also do in the future. Until then I will enjoy running this one as is and my guess is you likely would too!

I’ll get another!
This little 1/16 scale C-54 truck rips it up. It’s fast, agile, climbs well and goes through rocky puddles I’m the mountains. It keeps me busy on my work breaks. I put some other tires on it and it’s even better now!

Broken U-Joints After 2 Hours
It runs fine out of the box but U-joints on both front and rear driveshafts failed after less than 2 hours of run time. My son was very upset because he was having a blast up until then. I bought upgraded metal driveshafts and they did the job until the rear axle pinion shaft snapped an hour after that. Running again for the moment… Advice: spend more and get a legit RC crawler unless you like repairing tiny vehicles. I’ve added another $30 in parts to this truck’s $80 purchase price and that will buy you a nicer rig. Live and learn.

My grandson loves it

The controller doesn’t work properly
The controller doesn’t work to put car in reverse and was not set up correctly to put it forwards or stop. When turned on the car would just go forward and if pressed on the control would stop. Do not buy, there are many options out there that work so much better.

Great start.
I always wanted an RC car, but they are expensive, but this it's a very good starting point, not disappointed at all.

This thing is a blast, use glue on accessories.
This thing is so much fun, and pretty capable. I've driven it around the yard a bunch, set up rock obstacles, little courses, and have taught some of the neighbor kids 'how to drive' with it. Capable enough for big kids, but no so expensive you don't mine some little kids taking it for a spin. Great fun.Do use glue on the parts, the mirrors popped off and disappeared immediately. Some of the other parts are always popping of. The extra bumpers and bits are fun to play with.
