I needed something to keep my horses hay up off the floor of her stall. This rack is very solid and a very good quality. It was not hard to put together and I had it up by myself in a jiff. I hung a big plastic bucket under it to catch the droppings so that my miniature donkeys don’t get to the hay! They aren’t supposed to eat her alfalfa, but they do their best to try! I highly recommend this product.

No instructions. Coating makes it so you will need to use a mallet to connect the pieces.

It works great for our Nigerian Dwarf goats. However, we just had an adult disbudded doe get her head stuck in the lower section of it. We had to help her out. Not sure how that happened.

Good quality for the price, metal thick enough to give it some durability, and looks nice enough that I may order another to use as a blanket basket.

These are dangerous for goats. I bought 2 racks for my alpine mix and my Nigerian dwarf and within 30 minutes both girls had their heads stuck and my Nigerian was choking. Thank goodness my husband heard her. The cheap screws stripped easy and it was hard getting the racks off of the stall wall to get the goats out. They are going back tomorrow.

You need to supply your own screws. The ones supplied are cheap and unusable. The space between the bars is wider than I expected
