Ultra tight, not for a beer belly!
Great quality material, well stitched, nice design, nice colour. HOWEVER, unless you have just finished a photoshoot for the front cover of Mens Health magazine just forget it. The material is so fine, clingy, and tight, it WILL show every single detail of your chest. Awesome if you have a six pack, or want to show the outlines of your biceps etc, but if like me you have even a little bit of a belly, it will accentuate it to the absolute max!I am a medium and bought a Large, i looked totally ridiculous and my family rolling around the lounge floor confirmed my doubts. If you dont have a great body, do not buy this colour, buy black. And even then i would buy XL. I know they are supposed to be tight, but leave that for contestants off Love Island.I sent mine back and as i didn't have enough time before my holiday to re order i bought another brand from a shop. I wanted something more loose fitting so bought a XL even though i am a medium.Hope that helps you!

BE CAREFUL WITH SIZING! Don't make a rash decision
This is an attractive rash vest which I primarily wanted to wear in the public pools at Center Parcs in May both in and out of doors to avoid displaying too much skin and because it's often cold when transitioning between indoors and outdoors. We also go bodyboarding in Cornwall in July and wear full length wetsuits so it will be useful for that too.My wife duly measured me up (I am 5' 7", 36 waist, around 40" chest) so I ordered a large. This was basically miniature so I had to order a 2XL in white (pictured with me wearing it). Tip from me: the black colour probably hides middle age spread and general lumpiness best out of all the colours (as other reviewers have commented) but on a hot sunny day, black wetsuits, shirts etc. will heat you up quicker in the sun as I have noticed while sweating away trying to put up a beach tent. In any case, by the time I reordered, black was not available in XXL so I had to choose white. I would say order at least one size up from what you measure at.

Looks Cool
I'm no surfer, and very inexperienced body boarder so can't offer any form of professional review. But as a fairly recent colostomy bag wearer, I was after something I could wear that would still allow me to go to the beach, cover up, and not feel too uncomfortable. As you'd expect, and by design, it's very tight. For me maybe a size up would have been better, but as an average/slim build 6'2" bloke the XL would fit most people well I reckon.

Great rash vest.
I bought this top for a two week holiday, to replace one I had had for years. It was to used for sailing, diving, snorkelling, sea and pool swimwear and generally on the beach and poolside. The top fits very well it is nice and sturdy and didn’t ride up as others have. It has a decent elasticity which meant it stayed where it was meant to in the water and held water against my skin to keep me cool and or hot as required. The stitching is solid and the shape held well. It is also thankfully (it often isn’t!) long enough to be tucked in comfortably. I used it almost very day for two weeks in combination with another rash vest and had chosen the very bright yellow colour to be easily recognisable to my children and group when I was in the water. As a PADI dive master and a kayak instructor I have had many similar products over the years I like buy trusted diving or surfing brands as they tend to stand the test of time. This top has done an excellent job thus far and it appears likely to be with me for many years. I’m happy to recommend it.

Five stars
Great quality, I am very happy with it. Possibly should have gotten a 2XL as the XL is pretty tight and shows how big my gut is in detail. I wear an XL t-shirt loose usually if this helps you decide on the sixe you need. It is close enough that I will keep the XL though. Got this for use in waterpark on holiday as I've had skin cancer in the past and want to protect myself without being too warm.

NOT wetsuit
this is NOT a wetsuit, as mentioned in the add, just a thin elastic fabric t shirt, must be my eyes as it made me think it was a wetsuit as that is what i typed in on the search bar and it mentioned in the add?> NOT happy

Yes get a larger size.
6ft male, small frame, larger shoulders. 40 inch chest and always a medium for fitted shirt or t-shirt. I bought a large and thank god I did. I'd go for one size up. As people previously mentioned, under the armpits is a little baggy but for good reason. This is a sports top remember, and arm rotation movement comfort is crucial. All in, it's good quality.

Rash Vest stops the redness.
A tight fit, definitely go a size larger as per the other reviews and recommendations, glad I did. Stopped me getting burnt on a 2 week holiday that I spent the whole time poolside on. Lovely quality and the seams and stitching are in good places to stop chaffing. Will buy again in the future (if I need another one).
