Use live bait
Not sure this works as it should. Might be the smart fish in North Central Florida, but it isn't drawing in more fish. But it was worth a try. It does keep plastic baits soft and moisturized.

I have tried with crappie yet but I did use it on trout and caught a lot!

50/50 chance buying and using this brand
I was taking a risk buying this but, I couldn't tell if this stuff works or not truly. I watched bluegill come up to it and then swim off. It's more liquidity than other brands that are a thick jel.
