Fabric that is not black plastic I melted a black one on the stove and this will not!

The color is perfect – exactly what I was looking for to match my green kitchen and green dish towels. The color is somewhere between a sage an and olive. I also LOVE that this set comes with TWO oven mitts and TWO pot holders. Finally, I appreciate that these do NOT have the silicone grips. I had been looking for a set without grips for what felt like an eternity. On the downside, these potholders and and oven mitts are very thin and flat. They feel cheaply made and I don't expect them to last. I decided not to return since I have an old set of THICK oven mitts and potholders I can use if required. These look great, but are thin and likely to not hold up over time. I would gladly pay a bit more if the quality was improved.
