I gave this remote controlled VW bus to my husband for Christmas. After reading the instuctions he began "playing" with it and he had a blast. It turns, goes forward and backward. I always try to give him a unique gift and this one fits the mold. It does light up and makes an engine sound too. It seems to be pretty sturdy and fits in with the other older retro trucks that he has.

This is a fun little car. It is definitely different and you don’t loose track of it when there are multiple cars in use. It has a nice range on the remote. It is a little prone to falling on its side if you get the speed up high. I think this could be fixed by adding some weights. ( I was told this by a person that is really into rc cars). I’m not positive about the weight or placement. I just take it slower or go set it upright. I think it is fun.

It's ok on flat surface

For old VW bus this thing's pretty cool. It's pretty quick tons of features. Only thing I would say that is the con is that you cannot turn the engine noise off when you're trying to drive it. So no matter what, if you're moving, It will be making a revving noise kind of like a race car, but this is a Volkswagen bus remake and they've never made that sound. Other than that, it's cool. Little RC, especially for the younger kids

Nice little RC bus that the grandkids will find entertaining. Just like grandma had back in the day. Lights up and has motor and gear sounds as well as a horn. I was able to run it indoors on carpet, but it rolls faster on a hard flooring surface such as hardwood or linoleum.

I really enjoy this bus it's so retro I just love it to death I remember these when I was a kid the VW bus it has great build quality it's fun to drive I got it for a collector's piece but I like driving it too great toy for Christmas for your husband grandkids wife it's a great toy

I didn’t grow up in that era but it’s still a way to sit back and imagine living a life back then.The RC comes with several stickers to customize it. The remote is very responsive and the lights and sounds add a unique element to it. The engine sound isn’t like the VW sound but it’s still pretty cool.
