This is a VERY nice massager. It is the kind that my chiropractor's office uses on me so I knew I would like it. It is powerful and makes you feel like butter after a good massage. We have a massage chair that we use instead of laying on the bed or sofa. My only complaint, and the reason I give it a 4 star is because the vibration on the hands for the person giving the massage is incredibly powerful and my adult daughter can't give the massage because she says it is too much vibration for her to hold the handles. Also, after a massage, some people have complained that they were extremely itchy in the areas that were massaged but I really think that is just a part of the vibrating power of this thing. Overall, a good item.

This massager is the bomb. It's excellent! The only two bad things are that the person administering the massage will get their hands vibrated HARD.... As in, to absolute numbness after about 10 minutes. I ordered the sheepskin cover, but I put it over the HANDLES to help protect my hands a little. It is like a heavy industrial machine! It penetrates to your bones and will leave you loose, limber, and smiling.The other bad thing is that my hair got tangled up in it when I was sitting upright in a chair and my husband was using it on my neck and shoulders. I only have a medium length bob, and it was terrifying and painful. So now I wear a shower cap and braid &pin up my armpit hairs to keep them out of the way too.

This massager has been one of the best things I've bought yet. I deal with lots of neck pain and acute torticollis. My chiropractor had this in the office and so since I was paying for massage therapy every 6 weeks I figured I would give this a try. It has worked wonderful and has already paid for itself since I haven't had to go back to the massage therapist since using it. As soon as I start to feel my back sore uncomfortable and tightening up my husband uses this on a medium to high speed and it always loosens it up and I feel much better that night and a lot better by the next day.

"There can be only one..." in a category which is the best you can get of that kind of thing. The Jeanie rub is best in its class of mechanical massage devices, built to last for decades of use. I got my first one because my chiro had used the same one for 30 years and it was still going strong when he retired. After I got mine, I liked it so much that I gave them away that christmas to family members. About the Pad cover: you do need it to make the best use of the Jeanie. It is just to powerful, even at the lowest setting for some, but the pad is a perfect way to soften the experience. I then get everyone a pad!

This pad fits my 1980's "Massage Master". Fits and works well!

I bought this to add an additional tool to my therapeutic massage business. And although I have been in practice for 19yrs, nothing comes close to "hands on therapy" this is a wonderful tool to use in conjunction with some therapy. Looking forward to incorporating it more and seeing how it holds up!
