This is the most comfortable eye mask hands down. I saw some negative reviews on this mask and I had to step in. I’ve bought over 15 masks on Amazon and finally this is the one that works. I’ve been using it for over a year and am buying another one to travel with. It doesn’t hurt the ears or any part of the face, It provides a gentle “weighted” feeling to your eyes like a weighted blanket which makes you fall asleep if you have any issue with waking at night and needing to fall back asleep (which I do). It’s breathable for the eyes so you don’t wake up with red irritated eyes. I love that it doesn’t have Velcro which is so uncomfortable and loud to readjust (wakes up my husband). When it stretches out a bit, which it will, I just throw it in the washer and dryer and it it goes back to its original size (you should wash your mask every couple weeks any way so that problem gets solved which was part of the negative reviews). I love this eye mask. It's nicely padded but not too thick. Fabric is soft and cottoney. It seals light out well. I was specifically looking for something with an elastic back rather than velcro or buckle. It is comfy to sleep on my back and on my sides. It is sorta warm, which is nice right now, but we'll see how it is in the summer. The nose/cheek area blocks the light out well, but I had to massage the filling around a little to improve comfort and reduce the small amount of pressure it was putting on the bridge of my nose. I would love if it was just a little bit bigger in diameter, as I am worried that my ears could get sore. So far it has been okay though, when wearing it from dawn til noonish, in bed. When I wash it I may try to see if I can stretch it out a bit.

I was looking for a mask with a wide band. It works perfectly and would highly recommend to others.

I always use a sleep mask since I'm really sensitive to light. I've tried the cheap foam and elastic ones, fancy all-cotton hypoallergenic ones, and several in between. With all of them I always wake up with sore ears since the strap rubs or pulls on them and they're sensitive.This Mavogel mask is the first one that is 100% comfortable for me! The very wide elastic back and no ridge from velcro makes it feel like a wide soft headband or wooly cap rather than an eye mask. There's no ear discomfort whatsoever and I don't have to adjust the strap up or down because there isn't one. It also blocks light extremely well due to how wide it is.Even though it's soft thick cotton outside (which I appreciate) it's probably not hypoallergenic since it feels like there's foam rubber inside the nose bridge and the front eye cover section. But at least only cotton will touch your skin.I wear a size X-Large hat but this fits me fine. When I need to, I'll hand wash it in cold water and let it air dry to keep it from shrinking or having the elastic wear out too fast.I'm not crazy about the silly logo on the outside, but I can't see it when I'm asleep so who cares!I'm going to get a couple more for travel etc.P.S. This seems to be the only mask of this type I could find on Amazon, everything else is either velcro or the elastic band is no more than an inch wide.

This sleep mask is advertised as "One Size Fits All" with "No Pressure On Eyes". As soon as it arrived, I tried it on. I do have a larger than normal head and the mask was so tight it was uncomfortable. The pressure on my eyes was intolerable. Will be returning it today.

Perfect sleep mask! Enough coverage to block out all light even when laying on side/back/stomach. Not tight but tight enough to stay. And I like there is not adjustment piece so it doesn’t get caught in my hair or push against my head when laying on it. I went back and bought two more so I could have one for travel and a backup in case one gets lost!

I ordered several eye masks. All the others had velcro or exposed elastic, which gets caught in your hair as a woman. Sleep with this every night. I have taken these on every flight since buying them because they have extra fabric over ears for the screaming kids (and adults) that ear buds can't drown out
