First encountered Hopjes when traveling in Belgium. They have a very pleasant mild coffee flavor.

I remembered these from my early beginnings , one of the few digestible things that we had to agree the Hollanders were good at . Also good the De Ruijter chocolate sprinklers , even though we , as Belgian chocolate eaters , thought it was all the same a rather miserly way to enjoy chocolate .
