you might not need all 5 different sizes in duplicate, but gosh darn it, you will definitely have them. it takes a little bit of getting used to flipping it inside out so that you can "easily" place this on a thumb stick. I felt that I had to kind of get it worked in a few times to loosen these things up before it became pretty easy. the smaller/comfort style grips are easier to work with than the larger fps shooter ones no matter what, but i felt that it was still pretty easy and worth it overall. I used the smallest on the left stick for comfort and the 2nd largest (FPS) on the right stick (even though I don't typically play FPS games that often it will be already be on there for when I do and having it on there doesn't affect the other types of games that I play). while not as comfortable as other brands, for me, i found that another popular brand can feel oddly slick from time to time while these don't feel slick at all and I can definitely say that my left thumb has not felt sore after lengthy playing sessions with a controller that I definitely have gotten sore from in the past when not using thumb grips. I've put them on both the series x and one stock controllers with no issues. they fit really well on powerA enhanced controllers. they do not fit on the 360 stock controllers. I've put them on the gamesir g7 se controller which are really ps4/5 size thumb sticks. I was able to fit the comfort grip on the g7 any issues. the fps grip i got on, although it's noticeable that its not supposed to be put on there, but that hasn't bothered me. I think i'll get the ps4/5 version of this brand for the gamesir controller and i think/hope that those will fit on the 360 controller as well. overall, i think these are well worth the investment if you are interested in trying out performance type of thumb grips.

They are made with an anti-slip silicone material and offer 5 different designs for various applications and thumb-stick height preferences. We ordered and received ours in Black and they perfectly fit our Xbox Series X and Xbox One X Controllers.The 5 different designs provide the option of adding extra height on your thumb-sticks to increase friction and provide more sensitivity and/or accuracy. The “Basic” Model is approximately the same height as the standard controller but offers the silicone pads for better friction. The “Upgrade” Model increases the thumb-stick height by approximately 3/16” (which is said to improve shooting accuracy). The “Air” Model increases the thumb-stick height by 3/16” for a more sensitive touch and air cushioned feel (which is said to improve shooting accuracy). The “FPS” Model increases the thumb-stick height by approximately 5/16” to improve accuracy (which is said to enhance precision shooting). Last but not least, the “FPS+” Model increases the thumb-stick height by 7/16” (which is said to achieve maximum agility and accuracy).Not yet sure about those “claims” but we can tell you the silicone material definitely has a premium soft-touch feel which should certainly reduce thumb fatigue. Only time will tell if that is true for us but the texture on the surface definitely increases friction to prevent slipping and keep your thumb in place for more controlled thumb-stick adjustments and movement. That is always a welcome feature.Bottom Line: These thumb-stick covers provide the extra height, comfort and tactile feel that is needed to better control thumb-sticks for a better gaming experience. They are obviously made with high-quality materials and they are suitable for (and tested with) both the S/X and One X versions of the standard Microsoft Xbox controllers. They are smart looking (in Black) and most importantly, they work as well as we hoped for (after 1 week of use). So I'm not a competitive gamer, so this was a hard item to review. They seem made well and the fit is very tight. As others have said, maybe a little too hard to put on, I accidentally jammed the stick once trying to put it on. No permanent damage though.I have to say, I didn't really notice much difference in my gaming. If anything, it made the 'dead zones' in the middle of the stick more obvious. That space where you can move the stick but before your guy on the screen starts to move. But if you find the current sticks too limiting, to 'tight', these should do well to make the gameplay a bit more flexible. Just be careful putting them on or taking them off.

Easy to loose and not easy to install

First off, these are a fantastic value for the money! You get five pairs of thumb grips with various different sizes and height which is a great buy.Installation is very easy since it is designed specifically for an Xbox joystick. The quality of the rubber is superb, which makes gaming for extended hours so comfortable for your hands. I personally like to mix and match different thumb grips, so that's why I like this set because you can always change it up depending on what type of game you're playing.Aesthetically the all black matte color looks good on a lot of my different controllers and doesn't look too tacky or out of place.

They feel good but are super difficult to put on

They are easy to install, feel great to the touch, and I feel that they noticeably improve my accuracy with the control sticks. Playing Forza, I find that I have an easier time holding or modifying my line in corners. Highly recommend.
