The unit arrived with some damage, it had clearly been dropped a long way in its packing and the drive was misaligned, it took a complete dismantle of the unit to install a couple of washers to correct this. Once done it was perfectly aligned. The height drive wheel needed packing with insulating tape for a less wobbly fit. I wasn't expecting the world, this is vastly less expensive than nearly any rival setup. Once the niggles were sorted out it has worked really well. The only other mild annoyance is the flimsy and easily lost aperture spacers. I lost the smallest one. Lumberjack customer service is very good but the part was understandably out of stock. I've made an 8mm perspex snug fitting aperture (basically a new top-plate for the unit that sits on top of the metal one and locates in the 12 mm groove) which provides a better small clearance fit for small parts. In all very good value, and perfectly capable machine, certainly the best for anywhere near the price-point. Ditch the featherboards and make some new facings for the fence and it is as good as units costing three times as much. oh, and wear ear-muffs.. it's a noisy beast.
