Blue Buffalo Wilderness Grain-Free and High-Protein Dog Treats Made with Natural Ingredients Chicken

My dog loves these Bites as she is 14 years old and needs soft food now due to losing some teeth. I can't find them anymore where I live and was happy to find them online, but when they arrived they were Bits not Bites and those are much harder to chew. I tried to do a return but they were not returnable. Pretty disappointed but it is a great product. Hope they are not being discontinued.

I have an 11 month old GSD, and as any owner of one would tell you, it is constant work getting them to be well behaved and obedient. I have tried working with her in several different ways, all of which pale in comparison to using these treats. First off, yes, they are expensive for a 4 oz bag of treats, but let me tell you: it's worth it! I usually end up tearing the squares into 3-4 pieces, so they actually last longer than you would think. The composition is great, first ingredient is chicken followed by potato; no grains. The best part: my "wolf" absolutely goes crazy for them! As soon as she smells them, she is already salivating and impatiently awaiting my commands. She will do anything I want for one of these treats, and to me, that's makes them worth every penny. I can't say that your dog will react the same way as mine, since all dogs are different, but I have taken these with me to the dog park. Least to say, I was the most popular human out there. The hound dogs, with their amazing sense of smell, were the first to smell them and were constantly around me with numerous other dogs begging for some (a little annoying as I was trying to work on my dog's recall command). This was before I even opened the bag to start training; this tells me that these treats must smell oh so good to our four legged friends! Some of the dog owners came by to see what treats were causing such a reaction in their companions. Regarding the recall command, I had a lot of progress thanks to these treats. When I would come without them, my puppy would be so excited to play with the other dogs that it was almost like I wasn't even there--regardless of how many commands I would give her--until she would eventually calm down and become more obedient. With these treats, I can now get her to respond to "come" even while she is in the middle of playing with other dogs. So happy I found what works for my dog! Ordered the salmon flavor to try that out too. Highly recommend these! EDIT: I hope the seller brings these down in price as I have found them locally for 8 bucks.

My dog has a tumor, and ever since he got sick will not eat any dog food or treats. We bought these on a whim, and he absolutely loves them. They stink, but I think that is part of the appeal to him. They are nice and soft, which he also appreciates, as he is old and his teeth are not the best. I'm so happy I found something my boy will eat!

Something about this treat that my dog loves more than any other. He will always come when called if he knows, or sees that I have this bag in my hands! I feel that it is a good quality treat for him.

My 18 month old German Shepard has allergies and can't eat Beef or Milk products. My girl is very motivated by treats and she loves these Chicken Bites. I used to buy the similar treat by Blue Wilderness called Bits, but they changed the Recipe and that changed the texture. I found these BITES at a pet Shop and I'm happy that Amazon has them. They don't seem to cause any tummy issues for my girl and she loves them so that's a double win. I hope they don't change the recipe, unless it's healthier, but the texture works good for training. I do cut them up into smaller pieces, especially for training sessions. A handful in the pocket may leavesan oil spot, maybe the Oil of Rosemary, but it washes out. I will continue to buy!

ALthough these bites look good and have a great texture not too hard or dry, they have a strong smoke smell and most likely flavor. My dog does not like bacon or smoke flavor/smell and would not eat them. . I noticed she ate one that had been on the porch for 2 days so I left a few out on the counter for a day washed them off and she did eat them up finally. I have 2 bags and I will leave a few out ahead and hope she will keep eating them. Made in America!! Yea!!! This is one of many we have tried with smoke smell and i wish they would not that on the description so I could save a lot of trouble in the end. I would recommend if your dog likes smoke flavor..

My dog absolutely loves these treats! Makes for easy training, or just an occasional treat. Made with real chicken and comes in a resealable bag to preserve freshness.

I used this for my little Maltese dog and she still has 4 bags left. She likes them once in awhile but not every day.
