This rear-view mirror phone holder works very well. I am very pleased with it.

Took me a while to find this. I've tried MANY phone holders. Because I have had many phone holders I had a phone cradle I preferred. The cradle (clamps to the phone) was the only less than optimal thing about this setup. I switched for one I already had that clamped and has a release button. Installation is straight forward and extremely. The adjustability is excellent. I'd like just a tiny bit more if it was maybe 2 inches longer. It's stable attached to my rearview mirror. You'll see a rubber band in the picture. The only tiny wiggle it has is vertically. The rubber band puts a little upward pressure on the system. Would I buy this again? Absolutely. Recommend to a friend? YES. This really is the answer for me when navigating on my phone.

Wonderful product! The arm is sturdy, attaches firmly, easy to use squeeze mechanism to release phone which is held very securely. I love that I can fine tune the position so easily...if there is glare I can move slightly to avoid, or I can pull forward into the shade if the sun is beating on the phone, or I can adjust in all directions and degrees of distance safely and quickly. A terrific phone holder that beats every other one I have tried or seen!

It lasted 1 year 10 months and 17 days. Then it broke as it attached to my phone. It seemed to be slightly bending and noticeable before it broke. For $20 I would have hoped it could have lasted longer. But I'm not gonna downgrade it for that because like a delivery truck I get in and out of my vehicle continuously and use this more often than other people. I really like it and I'm gonna buy another one because it hasn't given me any issue prior to this. It did its job better than others I've used. Good and steady screen

Used this for a few months now. Solid metal materials and build (on the other hand, more weight put on the rear mirror stem). No shaking felt by the phone. Wish it is more flexible in shaft and the phone can tilt up a few more degrees. The biggest problem is, you have to put a lot of force down when mount the phone to trigger the clamp, which always makes me to feel that the rear mirror may be dragged off. I modified it by cutting one of springs 2mm shorter, which allowed the clamp-close trigger by a slight downward force. I am much happier now. Also I chipped off a little plastic in the back of ball-retaining ring to allow the phone tilt up a little so that the phone won't fall when loose the clamp, also have a better view angle.

This is just perfect for phone holder. I've had ones for the dash that didn't work, one for the vent that didn't work, one for the cup holder that was an inconvenience but this is just "great".

This is an updated review after 8 months. It was great while it held itself together. But after a half year, the screw that held the clamp to the holder became loose and there was no way to access that screw to tighten it. It was such nuisance constantly adjusting the freely rotating holder. Finally, I decided to try out super glue to drip between the spring into where the screw is to immobilize the holder. I did create a bit of mess due to the dripping superglue between the cracks but it appears it might hold. My fingers are crossed. The initial review right after purchase. The Rear View Mirror Phone Holder works like charm! It was easy to install and appears to be fairly sturdy unlike shabby plastics. The rotational arm was intuitive and easy to adjust into any angles without excessive stickiness or looseness. I was amazed that I got such a quality item with what I paid for. It appears I made a good deal.

I like how easy it is to attach BEHIND my mirror instead of attaching right on the mirror. I also find it easy to set my phone into the clamp and also easy to take it. I’m happy with this purchase.

I really enjoyed this until the plastic nut split that tensions the holder. I did contacted the supplier and they offered a refund or exchange, I said a exchange is fine but have neverheard from them since. If they make the nut out of metal it would be great.
