FLEOR Pre-wired Control Plate Fully Loaded Control Plate Wiring Harness Kit Black with Metal Knobs for Fender Jazz Bass Part

My bass Vintage Modified Jaguar Bass Special SSLooks pretty good. The design isn't on center with holes but knobs cover it.The holes aren't precise, two screws thread at an angle. It also doesn't line up perfectly with the pickguard. It's a bit widerI didn't use the knobs and pre-wired as my bass has 4 knobs.The knobs look good but since there was only 3 I used my own and gave the include to a buddy

I bought this because the one that came stock with my Squier J Bass had a knob pop out. works perfect and was wired correctly. If you are on the fence because of the price ,dont be. It is also pretty heavy and the knobs are solid.

Nice look. And good sound after I rewired it.Nothing to difficult.

Beefy metal and nice pots

I got this harness to replace a broken knob on my original Fender V (1999) electronics. Instead of replacing a single broken knob, I decided to just replace the whole thing. Mine came wired correctly and it functioned properly. All I had to do was solder the pickup cables to their respective places.One of the negative things about the metal plate is that it is not conductive, so I had to add copper tape to the back of the harness to maintain the shielding job. The two volume knobs are B500k, the tone knob is A500k, and the volume capacitor is J1437A.. (something like that, I don’t have it in front of me). But it’s the same capacitor that was used in the original fender harness. One other thing that I had to do was adjust the input cable jack to my liking. I made it a little looser because it was too tight out of the box. No biggie, I just brought the little pin back a little.In terms of the sound, it sounds really good. I can’t say that it sounded exactly like my original fender parts, but it sounded pretty darn close, about 85% there. Which is actually pretty impressive given that you get pots, knobs, and metal plate for a great price. I actually tried a different prewired harness before this one off of eBay for $7 when my original knob broke, and it sounded really hollow. Almost made not want to play my bass, but this harness brought the bass and fullness back into my basses sound.Overall, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a replacement. I’ve attached pictures to show what it all looked like when I got it.

It's beautiful and seems to be high quality. The wiring looks nice, but I rewired it with a differnet kind of wire, so I can't actually attest to the quality of the wiring itself. The design, however, is great.

The pots on it are to small I use 500k pots and capacitor rating are not right .074 orange drop I don't even know what that ine is .So basically I bought a pice of prity metal that's it vary disappointed.

Looks awesome on the DIY project I did. Looks amazing with the stain I applied.
