The inside is coated with paraffin wax which makes it suitable to store drinks without imparting strong flavors.The barrel will be delivered with wooden stand, tap and bung (wooden) and is low-maintenance as opposted to the toasted American oak barrels that need to be watered frequently. European oak barrels will be delivered dry and are just as easy to store as bottles or other containers. Due the paraffin wax the drinks stored inside the barrel will not evaporate over time.

très belle fabrication totalement étanche après deux jours de remplissage d'eau. intérieur enduit de paraffine idéal pour alcool blanc. j'ai ajouté copeaux pour du calvados.

Belle fabrication, en revanche absolument pas étanche, il fuit par la pièce maîtresse (au dessus), malgré plusieurs jours de remplissage et trempage dans l'eau. Très déçu, de l'argent perdu...!
