Pisces 15lb Seiryu Rock for Aquascaping, Aquariums, Terrariums, Vivariums

The media could not be loaded. These rocks have beautiful veining of white, and absolutely bring a scape together. This modestly priced stone pack came with so many rocks I used them in 3 tanks (x1 20L, x1 40, x1 20 cube) as still have enough to use in another, of flush out the 40 even more.I say they are good for smaller tanks as main stones or larger tanks as accents as the largest the measure is about 4in-5in long.The heavily planted tank I use them in is Japanese garden themed, and the line the “garden beds” and pathway, the Dalmatian Molly tank is a work in progress, but is a hard water tank I keep my freshwater clam in, and if you look carefully you can see it decided to nestle into the rocks (yes they do move), the last tank is my cube which is based off of sycamore gap, and the tragic loss of it being cut down (the stones are mixed into a heavy carpet of mini leaf and dwarf hair grass, but I’m considering removing the hair grass for more mini leaf).I mention. This so you can see the vast use-cases for these and how very different tanks with different needs can all be complimented by these.I love the price point, they are real stone, and they look fabulous.I’m interested on if these were mined ethically or not due to the low price, but regardless (there is no ethical consumption under capitalism) I really do love these and recommend them to anybody who wants something to boost their hard scape.The texture of these rocks is rough enough to harbor great beneficial bacteria and smooth enough for fish like corydoras and loaches to eat biofilm off of without issue. (Tested with albino and Julii eye corydoras, and hillstream loaches)They also stack well, just make sure to superglue them or preferably aquarium epoxy them together for a secure hold.All in all 87/100, I wish there were more varieties of size, but other than that, they are pretty perfect for aquascaping.

They came pretty clean I still rinse them off tho I got a big one some were medium size and the rest were very small but they work for me perfect I use them in my tríele tank the color is is beautiful I had some with zebra like marks on it some with the marvel look other more on the dark side but they complement each other also I like the shapes and cut I got I’m really happy with these purchase plus I got so much for the price I know these going to last long time!!! Ps. My rocks didn’t came like in the picture bag they came in a different plastic bag inside of a box they were not super secure but again is no way you can secure rocks I bought rocks from different places and they just put them In the box at lease this one’s came in in a plastic bag I’m definitely going to purchased more I. The future for my larger thank!!!

This was my first time buying rocks online or any for that matter (well big aquascaping ones) I was a little hesitant about what kind and how big the rocks that I would receive but with seeing the reviews of other people and pictures I was very impressed and I took a risk and I’m glad that I did because I absolutely love them. The rocks are gorgeous. Also, don’t mind the cloudy water. I just put Fluval stratum in my tank and it was just getting clear.

The media could not be loaded. All the rocks were small 3-4" and very very bland for seiryu stone.If you can purchase this type of stone locally and pick out some nice large feature stones as I have this is a decent and very cheap option to supplement the nicer stones.I pay $3.99/lb locally...which adds up really fast. I received over 23 pounds of rock in this order! They probably just fill a standard box to the brim and the small basic shapes increased the weight. Lucky for them I guess because this is the only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 2. I would never be able to create an attractive scape from what they sent me.If you can't buy locally to get some nice pieces with character then save the money and get some free creek rock...

Good quality, mix of sizes etc for the price. Be sure to rinse!

Awesome! The pictures have the rocks all together, however, the are individual rocks. I also have leftovers. Exceeded my expectations and it was $30. I boiled them on low for some time. They are very dust when you receive them. Great purchase.

5 stars for the first order I placed (rocks on left of picture with yellow striped towel). Pleasantly surprised by the color, variation, and sizes! I was so impressed I immediately placed another order. Unfortunately my second order (right side of picture) consisted of one giant triangular rock with very little variation--mostly flat surfaces--and a bunch of small rocks from 1" to 4". It might be hard to tell from the photo, but the small rocks were fairly flat in profile as well. I ended up using most the rocks from the first batch and a couple rocks from the second batch as "filler" rocks to prop up the good rocks. My photo really doesn't do any of these rocks justice. The good rocks are absolutely beautiful. Color, veining, and variation is gorgeous. The large triangular rock looks ok in the photo with a nice slant for stacking, but it was actually not very usable. It looks like it was chiseled and very blocky. Again, the photo doesn't come across well--unless I took pics from all angles. Overall I have to rate this product 3 stars, 3.5 if Amazon would allow me. If you get a good batch, they'll be 5 star quality, but with so many tiny pieces in my second order, I can't rate this a 5 overall. It's iffy. I'd order again and cross my fingers, but I'd look at additional reviews from other vendors first since I hesitate to return such a heavy package. First day of tank setup photo included. It's not exactly what I had in mind but I'm satisfied with the results using the rocks I had.
