Purchased this for a long flight
The cushion was perfect for air travel. I had a long flight to endure and wanted a seat cushion that was easily transportable, not too thick and a washable cover. I was able to loop the elastic that is around the cushion to my luggage handle for easy transport. The only thing that I worried about was forgetting it on the plane, which I did on last leg of the flight home. Luckily the passenger next to me caught up with me with as we were exiting.

Works great on hard metal seats!
So glad I found these travel cushions! I have one in both cars so when we go to places with no padding, I am thankful! Try them, you will love it.

Perfect in almost every way except…
I have a skinny butt that does not do well seated for long periods of time. This seat cushion is great in that it provides an additional layer of comfort. The down side is, due to it compact size it needs to be positioned for one’s butt and it’s heavier than expect, approximately 1.5lbs and might be a challenge for carry-on luggage/ traveling light. I plan to take it to Japan and will update me review upon return.

Small and compact when folded, and very comfortable to sit on for an hour or so.

Wasn't enough for a 12hr plane ride
I suffer from pain / discomfort when sitting for long periods on a hard plane seat , and wanted something to improve my comfort .... This helps but it's not enough for a 200Lb male for 12hrs intercontinental just needed more padding ... I ended up buying an additional cushion for the flight home and the two together worked ...........
