These were just the ticket to fix my niece's PC's wifi problems

Had this long enough now to a fair review. I needed this as my computer sit close to a wall and the signal is very weak because of this. It gives me strong signal from the moment I set it up, down side is it only seams to pick up 2.4Ghz. I have tested the my card and it is work correctly, picking up both 2.4 & 5Ghz. Edit: Two things I can add. First, even on just 2.4Ghz I get a strong signal and very high speed when connected (for me that's top out at 140Mps). Second, 5Ghz has started to work, out sure how or why, but it's a very weak signal compared to my stock antenna. Speeds top out at 450Mps when 5Ghz is active.

Bought to improve Bluetooth connection to my fretlight guitar, worked an absolute treat and was night and day better than simply using the built in aerials. If you use a signal meter and are expecting it to show you 4 or 5 times the power you will be disappointed, because it doest work like that, it's obviously logarithmic, but the difference is clear and measurable. High quality build and design too.

Worked better than expected. As can move to a better location. Original antenna are better, but they are fixed to the router. Using these gives a better signal as you have more options to mount in a better location

Bought this where I was getting about 0.2 mega bits per second, my desktop was self shielding the three little antennas stuck out the back of the card. But I could tell from my phone held just above the case that it could be much higher. Only snag was my wifi card had three antenna diversity and wasn't sure if just improving two would make the difference. UTTERLY WORTH IT. I now have close to the theoretical max for my wifi setup and am maxing out my fibre. Updating some Blizzard games I just had 6 mega *bytes* per second so a 240x improvement. Most of this will simply be from being able to move away from the shadow my huge metal case created. But even then these antenna are clearly far better tuned to the frequencies being used than the little stubby ones you get out of the box. So utterly worth it to the point Im sad I never did this before even when the wifi was just acceptable. Only grip is the base for the antenna is a bit weird and designed for a screw wall mount. Works ok for resting on a desk, would have been easier if it was an adhesive pad.

The signal on these antennae is not the greatest, but the magnetic base gives a very sturdy attachment to surfaces and it will help give signal to any PC that has to be placed far away from your router with its back facing against the wall and away from your router. As much as it’s always more ideal to just remodel a bit so you can move your PC, if for some reason you can’t do this then this could be an option as an alternative to setting up wifi extenders. I saw an increase from 0.6Mb/s download and 3Mb/s upload to avg 14Mb/s and 20Mb/s respectively. This will be a decent temporary stop-gap for my sibling until they find the time to remodel their room. DO NOTE however that this signal was not stable due to the aforementioned weak signal from these lower quality antennae and produced anywhere from 6-20Mb/s depending on its mood.

I was looking for an antenna that instead of connecting directly to the back of the pc, like my existing ones do, could be moved to sit ontop of my pc case even attached to the wall above. This seemed to be perfect. Sadly though, when i replaced my existing Wifi Antenna with this thing, both the 2.4ghz and 5ghz wifi that my PC could pick up dropped signal strength by an average 5dBm worse than the ones i had tucked at the back of the PC tower further away from my router. Moving this antenna closer to the routers location made no difference. I even tested this on a 2nd PC in the same room as my router within 2 metres of it and again this antenna gave a worse signal. To make matters worse, the antenna are fixed to the base, unable to be unscrewed and replaced with better ones. Avoid this at all costs, save your money. I've now returned it to Amazon for a refund.

I ordered this WiFi antenna to replace the original ASUS antenna I had with my PC as the cable's weren't long enough to reach the WiFi sweet spot in my room as I'm the opposite side of the house (and up one floor) to where to router is. Connected this to my motherboard, positioned the antenna and instantly getting around 200-250mbps better download speed.

Estando en una habitación con 2 paredes de ladrillo y una puerta de por medio hasta el router, consigo una señal del 80% y de 220 MB de descarga, cuando con la antena de serie de mi placa apenas alcanzaba un 50% de señal, con 60-70 MB de descarga y con cortes constantes. Muy recomendable, funciona mejor de lo que esperaba. No le doy 5 estrellas en facilidad de instalación porque no he probado a pegarla sobre una superficie, está directamente sobre mi escritorio.

My NZXT H1 Case doesn't work well with Onboard WiFi due to the positioning of the MB in the case. This device easily addresses the issue. I (magnetically) mounted the antenna under my desk so it's out of sight.

Its works got beter range.

A causa di diversi muri tra il router wifi e la scheda di rete avevo la linea instabile ed una notevole perdita di segnale. In abbinato ad una prolunga da 3 metri ho potuto installare l'antenna in una posizione ottimale che mi garantisce di ricevere il segnale stabilmente al 100%. Totalmente soddisfatto.
