serves well in many environments
It's been like a week or two in, here are my thoughts. 6hr battery per charge. good eq available and works well. good transparent mode definitely makes it safe to wear outside whilst walking. good anc is perfect for me because it blocks out just the right amount of noise, not deafening silent. anc in much busier environments, you could expect a bit of noise to leak in for like a second then smooth listening afterwards. ear comfort: fits snuggly into my ears, doesn't slide out easily, very lightweight and doesn't put much pressure in your ears. suitable for gym I'd say. controls on earphone is honestly pretty good. Touch controls all responds quickly and hassle free. The pause/play may be a tiny bit delayed but responds well and hassle free. listening experience has been crisp, convenient and versatile. Mic is great, sound comes out the other side clear. I use it to listen to music, podcast, lectures, meetings, binaural beats, movies... and they served me perfectly with no doubts in any of my experiences. Planning on getting a second pair for someone else.

Impressive for the price
I compared these to a set of the latest "fruit-branded" hair-pods (i borrowed) and was impressed with the quality of the soundpeats. These are as good, if not better than those expensive little white alternatives for sound-quality and noise-cancellation. As for their durability and battery life, it is too early to say. A point lost for the silicone ear-pieces as i like bigger fits. There are a few different sizes included (hidden in the box with the usb-c cable) but, preferring a larger set, a quick shop on ebay found some larger replacements for a couple of quid. Noise-cancellation: not to be confused with noise-reduction (which is effectively wearing earplugs) These units have an impressive noise-cancellation feature (again better the white competitors) that appears to cancel low frequencies. Upper-mid and high frequency sound is reduced but not as much as the low-frequency sounds (i'd expect this to be beneficial on an airplane flight) The app (which you have to download separately) is no-frills and in scatty-English but allows you to control the noise-cancellation feature and apply some preset EQ settings though it does require you to set up an account which is a bit of faff. Obviously doesn't have the major-phone-maker's eco-system that you get with other similar units but then do you want to play with the visual features or listen to audio? Summary: For something one third of the price of those expensive named brand units you are getting wireless earphones with a great sound and features. Worse case you send them back, what is there to lose?

Amazing Sound, great Noise Cancelling for calls. OK ANC
Had these a week and I've been really impressed with them (especially given the price), they have a couple of oddities which I will describe below but all in all they're fantastic. Sound Super Loud, Super Crisp, really deep bass, These really do pack a punch. I've found that using the adaptive EQ in the App makes a big difference. Comfort So far I've found these to be really comfortable (have only worn for up to 90 minutes so far), they're very light and the supplied tips fit my ears fine although the other supplied tips look to be very similar in shape and size so I'm not sure how adaptive these will be for people with different shaped/sized ear holes. Noise Cancelling for listening (ANC) So as others have mentioned for lower pitched background sounds (fans, kettles, microwaves, car noise, wind noise) the ANC works really really well especially given I paid £65 for these, they're streets ahead of the Jabra Active 65 that they replace on this front. The Transparency function is also really really good and again streets ahead of the my old Jabras (worth noting that they Jabras were 7 years old but did cost £150 at the time). What the ANC isn't quite so great at getting rid of is people talking and other higher pitched noises but for £65 I'm willing to ignore this as frankly I haven't found any noises that get through intrusive. Noise Cancelling (Calls) This works really well, everyone has been able to hear me even in noisy environments. Connectivity They have connected to my phone(s) fine with no issues however I have struggled to get them connected to my Windows 11 PC.. Haven't looked into why yet. Ease of use/Touch controls Here's where the weirdness comes in.. The touch controls are a bit intrusive/ random at times and I think this is all down to the lack of a physical button. They have various gestures like single tap, double tap, triple tap and long tap which you can set in the app and when done correctly all work fine however the lack of a physical button and lack of feedback for each tap sometimes make you do the wrong thing. I've gotten used to the speed you need to do things over the week but I'm still finding they will Skip track (Long Press) when you take the ear bud out to talk to someone and will sometimes think I've tripled tapped when I've double tapped. Just having a beep after each press or.. just a small button with a click (like my old Jabras) would solve these small issues. Battery Life - Can't really comment as I've not used them for long enough yet Long story short, would I recommend these..... so far yes I would! For the money they sound fantastic, make my phone calls sound good and fit in my ears and don't fall out!

Stunning pair of earbuds for the price!
For the price, these earbuds can't be beaten! + These are comfortable, including for longer periods of time. + They have fantastic ANC which I use when I'm walking around to stop all the unwanted noise. + Hi-Res audio is a fantastic little add on feature that I used with some of the streaming services out there and it's on par with other higher priced earbuds out there! + Finally battery life is brilliant, I've not once had to worry about charging them! The SoundPeats Air4 Pro can also be updated and configured as you like via the companies app that you can download for free. If you want a cable set of earbuds that sound great and are comfortable for long periods of time, look no further as these are my main buds I use on a day to day basis now!

5 Stars for sound, but.... Review edited a week later
Love the sound, for music or films, even if aptX lossless it's a very nice scenario. But, "just" aptX seems to work nice with Samsung s23 ultra and a laptop. AptX voice calls also works great. A few things stopping me to give it a general 5 stars rating: -Noise cancellation: I'd rate it slightly below average. You can get the same level of noise reduction from earbuds half the price (but don't get the same sound quality with those). -The case: Why it has to be so slippery?? Only one led light to indicate charging level. Basically, you don't have a clue how much juice is left in the case. Also, the app doesn't show the case battery charging level. - The app: doesn't look bad at all, but still a lot of work to be done. The lack of any customisation for the controls it's the biggest minus for me, because I don't really like at all how controls are set up. Bottom line: If you have a device compatible with Qualcomm aptX codec and you're after great sound, but don't care too much abut the rest of the stuff, not sure what else you can buy for this price. I have been using a pair of JBL Live Pro2 for a while, but: more expensive, loosing connection randomly for a few seconds, average sound. better case, better app, better noise cancellation. Still prefer this Air 4 pro for the nice sound quality. After connecting the earbuds to my phone, tried to connect them to other phone, PC, laptop and just didn't worked. I followed all the steps in the manual, all the lights flashes as supposed to, but I just can't see them on any other device. I reset them, turned off Bluetooth on the original phone, even turned off the phone completely, but no luck. Still working fine with the original phone, but the fac that I'm not able to use them with any other device made me change the initial rating. And these airbuds are advertised as being able to connect to two devices simultaneously.... Shame they can't get the software right. The hardware but it's really impressive.

AVOID
DO NOT BUY THESE, this isn't my first 'soundpeats' product, but since you can only control these through the app you'll be thoroughly disappointed as the latest update got rid of the 'options/settings' instead only letting you view the battery percentage left. you can also 'update the firmware' which takes you to a page in chinese and dodgy buttons. no technical support from the company. no answer to e-mails. avoid. the reviews in the app store don't lie. so technically good, but unusable.

Great earphones
These are amazing for the price. The sound quality is better than my £100 headphones and the active noise canceling works a treat. The fit is OK although I had problems with them fitting in one of my ears. I also struggled to set it up but all you needed to know is open the box where the earphones go in and connect them before you take them out. A solid pair of earphones
