AVUX 10.5 inches Corner Protective Gift Box with Bow Lid and Ribbon- A Black Colored Empty Gift Box for Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Weddings and Birthday Parties for Men and Women

Item was received 3 days after order. This box is very sturdy and has an elegant look for any occasion. It can re-fold flat for re-use. There is an included black ribbon which threads through the box and lid to hold it closed. I ordered some other gift boxes, and all of their lids stayed closed on their own. This lid does not stay closed unless you tie the ribbon. For that reason, the other available gift boxes are a better option.

This box is strong, elegant and easy to assemble. I got this box to put soap and lotion for a Christmas gift and my items fits perfectly inside. It is strong and not flimsy. It provides a nice presentation for items. The ribbon is a nice touch for a little elegance. It comes flat and has corner protectors to keep the corners from bending. When open, each corner has adhesive to keep it in shape. I can’t think of any negatives for this box. It is priced well, especially if you consider a gift bag with tissue. This box you can keep and reuse for something else.

So like I said, this baby had lots of potential, but they needed to extend that upper tab by about an inch so the magnet can stick more effectively. As it is, you have to bend the flap a bunch and then hope the ribbon will hold it down. It does assemble easily though, and the adhesive appears to be 3M, which is a solid quality choice, but over all... it's a little lacking.

Very disappointing. It looked so nice, but the entire purpose of getting this box was for the magnetic closure. It's not magnetic AT ALL! I can see circles where magnets should be, but the lid doesn't even try to stay closed. Not even a little. It's like there's no magnets at all. The only way to keep it closed is to use the ribbon.I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1, because the rest of the box is good - looks nice, easy to assemble, seems solid...but the most important thing about it doesn't work. I don't want to put something in a box that can only be closed by a ribbon.

The box came with no instructions but it was very straightforward and easy to assemble. The box itself is sturdy thick material and I would love to reuse it except the magnets that are supposed to hold the lid down, well they just don't. The lid will stay shut with the help of the ribbon that comes separately and you have to tie it on yourself. Im horrible at making pretty bows as you will very well see in the photo. I thought the bow would come attack to the lid as just a decoration and the magnets would be what help it closed, sadly that's not the case and you can see the horrible results from the picture.

The box is made of rigid cardboard and feels sturdy enough. It comes with a ribbon, which is a plus if you are giving a gift in the box. It was very easy to assemble and stayed together well. Although designed with a magnetic lid, I encountered an issue as the lid failed to close securely. In comparison to my other magnetic boxes, this particular one falls short. That is the only drawback, but the ribbon does kind of help the box stay closed.
