Aesthetic addition to our daily meals...
These bowls are beautiful and aesthetic. They are not cheap at all, but sure enough are nice to use them daily. They are sturdy, and we have no problem cleaning them in a dishwater. So far, so good. No chip, no faint color. The size is on a smaller size.

Perfect for mise en place
These are the cutest! They're perfect for mise en place while I'm cooking, and since I use them all the time, I just have them on constant display on my countertop.

Disappointed in these
These bowls are perfect small size, and very pretty spring colors. BUT, unlike other Staub items they are made in China. Far too expensive for a bowl of this quality. One could find something similar in a bargain store for a fraction of the price. For me it is a return.

Reliable and good looking
Staub is expensive. Yes!But it is also very reliable and good looking. So worth it, I would say. It came with 6 macaron colors which are very beautiful.

Super Heavy Duty, Broiler Safe Bowls!
Honestly, I didn't think I was a fan of stoneware bowls, but I decided to try these when I had the opportunity, since my family goes through lots of small bowls I knew that Staub was a "good brand," but that turns out to be a major understatement. These bowls are truly next-level—or as my gamer son would say, "OP" (overpowered)! Each of the bowls is a different muted pastel shade, with a finish that seems to be glazed onto the structure of the piece, not just painted on the surface. As someone who has worked with ancient pottery, I can assure you that the colors won't be fading or flaking anytime in this millennium. When I took out one of the bowls to get a better look, I was impressed by how heavy it felt compared with the bowls we usually use. So I pulled out my kitchen scale, and you can see the results in the photos: the Staub bowls weigh 11.65 ounces, compared to the 6.85 ounces of our other bowls. That's nearly five ounces more! I don't think I'll have to worry about these being chip- and crack-prone like most stoneware I've used. Finally, I read the care directions to make sure I made these beauties last as long as possible, and I was amazed to learn that you can actually put these bowls UNDER THE BROILER. That's right—French onion soup, broiled cheese on top of oven dishes, and even creme brulee in a pinch could all be finished directly in the bowls. Apart from glass storage dishes, I didn't even know something like this existed!I'm excited to use these to serve cozy baked meals and treats in style in the coming months.
