Theory, laboratories and exercises for Mikrotik RouterOS

Great intro to Mikrotik RouterOS software. You should have a decent understanding of how networks work before starting, but this book does a good job with the labs & exercises to help you figure out what will happen if you do X Y and Z. The formatting on kindle edition is pretty awful though with lots of placeholder/formatting text and missing images. See attached images. Also, you cannot copy and paste anything from the Kindle website, although typing each CLI command out is good practice for learning, but would still like to have this feature enabled.

When I buy a book on a networking platform I kind of expect to a discussion of some of the more complex topics/features.This book will get you up and running in trivial environments but covers none of the flexibility or more complex topics.

Obviously a decent attempt of translation from the authors original language but with several misses and rather bad disposition and organization. Having said that you will learn a bit about the targeted topic, but it could be done soo much better.I am returning this, and the second book.
