Burt's Bees 100% Natural Nourishing Mascara, Black Brown - 0.4 Ounce (Pack of 2)

Very good price and quality for being a natural mascara. Goes on very easily and quickly without clumping and has a pretty dramatic effect. It definitely does a good job of mimicking the effects of normal chemical laden mascaras. Some said that it clumps up on lashes easily but this is true for a lot of mascaras if you don't use some kind of technique, like zig-zagging the wand or removing excess along the inside of the tube before applying.

I have been using this mascara for a few days now and am blown away. The only complaints I have is that the brush is a little too hard to navigate on the bottom lashes, but that's nothing some oil can't help with, another thing is that if it gets in my eye, my eye stings for a second. I always am on the lookout for brown mascaras, and I think I've found my favorite mascara hands down in this line. Update 1/24/19 I still love this mascara but I do notice that if I accidently blink or get some in my eye, my eyes get really irritated and red :( I am going to keep using it and just be careful, but I wish it was better for sensitive eyes.

Several years ago, I switched to only non-toxic, cruelty free mascara and other make-up products, so I tried out Burts Bees Mascara. I like the fact that there is a brownish black option, rather than straight black. I generally like the product, but there are two issues. One is that the brush is tight when you try to remove it in order to apply mascara, and it is difficult to get enough coverage because so much comes off the brush as you pull it out of the tube. It takes multiple tries to get the effect I want, which is a bit annoying. The other issue is that every single one of these winds up with a major crack in the plastic cover surrounding the brush - at first I thought it was just the one, but it has occurred repeatedly. That means you cannot totally close the mascara when finished, because the crack prevents it tightening up completely. I would hope Burts Bees would look into this, because I do like the product, but it is not without some problems.

I have tried many mascara's like everyone but this one so far is my favorite. It's applies very nicely and the brush makes my lashes stay...how do you say...they stay separated. Also I keep it in the fridge so that it doesn't spoil. I live in a very hot climate so I figure it's best for it to stay cool.

I do like this mascara since it is more natural, but it will come off fairly easily. Just having moisture around your face (like from a mask) will dissolve the mascara.

Terrible product. Clumps, flakes while applying and all day. Brand new but was comparable to a 6 month old product. Very dissatisfied!

I was looking for a natural mascara at a good price and found this product. I like that it has jojoba oil which is the closest oil compared to our skin so it moisturizes my eyelashes. It goes on well with minimal clumping.

I've used other natural mascaras and they layout end up with black sprinkles under my eye worse... black under eye. I've used this product for a while and will continue to use.

I am always looking for a mascara for sensitive eyes. This one is light in weight, color stays and is easy to remove at the end of the day. Lots of volume.

No sé si es por el tiempo que llevaban almacenados o si así es la consistencia normal, pero están lleno de grumos, ya traté con ponerlo en agua caliente para hacer que se revuelva mejor y se le quiten los grumos, incluso con gotas para ojos de manzanilla para ayudar a que se disuelva y no ha cambiado para nada, obviamente al aplicarlo desde la primera capa (no doy más de dos) estan los grumos a lo largo de toda la pestaña y si tratas de cepillarlas para quitarlos se va todo el rimmel y queda como si no hubieras aplicado casi nada; huele muy rico y el color es muy bonito pero es una lastima que la consistencia es malísima, lo compré principalmente porque estaba buscando un rimmel más natural y mejor calidad en los colorantes pero no me funcionó. Incluso lo he usado dejando un poco de grumos (rogando que nadie los note) pero hasta con el paso del día y el estar parpadeando, se cae. No lo recomiendo para pestañas que estan acostumbradas a aceites o no toleran los rimmeles base agua ya que nunca van a lograr enchinarlas.
