This filter replaced the one I got last year. The older one had six folds in the dust filter. This one has five. The effect of this is that the surface are of the filter is reduced, which means it will clog 1/6 faster. The material from which the filter is made also seems to be of lower quality.I suppose it's always a crap shoot when buying this sort of product. My advice would be not to buy a two-pack until you are sure about the quality.

This filter is adequate, but don't look for top of the line construction. The cardboard framing that holds the actual filter is not that sturdy. It does the job, but handle with a little care. The good news is that we can still get this filter as the Bionaire humidifier I use it for stopped making these several years ago! The options available are very limited. From that perspective, I'll order it again.

They arrived on time. And worked perfectly for my humidifier, that’s 30 years old.

It fits and works as expected. Don't need to buy anything else to get it to work.
